I am well versed regarding Popp's work. While you're correct to admire her talents, you're a petulant snot for denigrating Jo for her Latin. The Asian tongue has great trouble with Latinized articulation as ours does with Asian articulation. Unable to apparently admire talent for its own sake, you felt the need to criticize her for doing something you undoubtedly could never do. Those who can, do. Those who can't, sit on the sidelines and put down those who do. Guess which YOU are.
I did not like her performance and gave my reasons why. I am entitled to express my opinions on her performance no matter what you believe my qualifications to be. I just learned that Jo studied with DameSchwartzkopf early in her career....I always knew there was something familiar about her voice
