  • I bought mine about 2 years ago and have never been happier with any other router. I love the ease of setting up port mapping because my mac uses it's built-in apache web server to host my web-sites. I also manage a few other mac networks remotely through their airport extreme routers. Anyone need any advice about it can ask me, I know a bunch about it.

  • how about iof i dont have the cd can i till use it? plzz replay

  • wat is ur download mbps. did it increase?

  • You make me want one :) So how is this little bad boy working for you? Does it need any resets from time to time?

  • so does it work with a cable modern ?

  • look at that old dinosaur! lol

  • express 100 times better

  • I would recommend getting the Time Capsule. Its only a hundred bucks more, and doubles as an AirPort extreme and 1tb hard drive. :)

  • Dont get time capsule it breaks after a year or so

  • "a bit of sympathy" for the UPS guy.

    Funny!

  • nice video helped me out some as you say alot of talking and no info in other videos, stone age mesh there too :D

  • does the desktop have to be wireless? or no it hookes up to the airport extreme with a cord

  • great video, helped out a lot!

  • Hey! Im sorry I dont have a 360 and I don't know what kind of card you refer to. Everything is in the video, as far as I am aware you need a cable modem with Ethernet out to plug into the Airport Extreme.

  • Yo pls answer my question :))

so i got this USB modem so i can get internet anywhere, and since theres a usb port on the Airport Express can i plug my usb modem in there then get wifi? or is that usb just for printers?

  • Just for printers

  • Do I need a existing router to use this or can I just plug in the power and the ethernet and go?

  • all you need is your cable modem thats it

  • Can you replace the AIrport Extreme with a router.

  • Im just wondering. How easy was this to set up on a PC laptop? Since me and my brother have 2 different computer, his being a Vaio (vista) and mine Macbook (OSX), how hard is it to set up to both computers? I know people are saying its a breeze on a mac, but just wondering if its also the same for pc.

  • Hey thanks for the comment. Once the Airport Extreme is setup (connected to the broadband modem and accessing the Internet) both your laptops should just recognise the wireless network you have created with the Airport Extreme and should access the Internet automatically! You will have to enter your password though to connect to your network, I highly recommend setting up a secured wireless network, hence the password. Windows will store the password, OSX will store it in a 'keychain'.

  • Is it good Johny? Was thinking about buying one. Can you set it up (plugin hard drives) to work as a wireless back up device?

  • Hey! Yeah its properly good! Not one problem with it since I got it setup! You can leave it on all day long and it wont crash/loose connection etc, truely a fantastic bit of kit. You can plug anything usable/share-able lol into the usb port and network it.
