My Mom died of cancer when I was 15 years old. She asked me to make her ONE promise. To live my dream of becoming an airline pilot. I was not a good student at all up until 10th grade. I studied my ass off and had to work 2 jobs (3 at one point) to help pay to attend WMU. I never imagined myself succeeding to college after failing 7th and 8th grade and barely passing 9th. But I did it. Now I soar the skys with Airtran and I can't help but think of her every beautiful sunset at 30,000 feet <3

my mom died when i was sixteen after being addicted to sleeping pills for 4 yrs and then suffering 3rd degrees burn that got infected and she died. i walked into the living room bc she was asleep on the couch and i rolled her over and her face was blue and it was already too late to save her. its now been two years the 26 of july and i still ahve nightmares about that night but i know i will get to see her face again soon.

I'm so sorry, I can't imagine what it's like to lose a parent so young. Just try to keep remembering the good times you had. I don't know that you'll ever "get over" this, but it does get better. You never stop loving the person or missing them, but remember that she would want you to be happy.

Im sorry to hear about your mom. I was 17 when my mom died 1956-2002 its gonna be 9 years on may 20 an its still rough. I hope everything works out for you only thing that helps me is to know i have a constant angle watcing my every step an everything i do is for her n myself by the way im 26 now

My 5th one of these sad stories. I had to look away to keep the ocean I already have down here from drowning me... I paused it and regained myself, then I watched the rest and still cried. I turned 16 in january of 89 and my mom passed away on february 7th 1989 her last words to me were i love you and i'll be back later. well she never cameback, i am now 38 and there isnt a day that goes by that i dont miss her. it still hurts that shes gone and even though its been many years since she's been gone it seems like only yesterday sometimes. we were very close and i still miss her so much. when i look at y kids i couldn't imagine them without me.

I laughed. I couldnt believe it, I really believed she was joking. So my mom died all alone at 1.00 a.m. of 1st November 2007 holdin the hand of the doctor. The trouble is..I wasn't alone, I felt safe with my grandma (what a firework of a woman God how much I miss her!), now I do. Totally. I feel such an horrible person, I can't receive love, and I just believe my mom hated and would have hated me. Just miss all them....

I know how you feel Lewis. I lost my Ma to cancer a few months ago. She fought so hard, such an inspiration. She was my best friend. I wrote a song called 'My Friend' that was played at her funeral. You can hear it on my channel. Apologies now if it gets the waterworks going... mind you that's a good thing I guess. This song is awesome too. Take care.

I ost my mother when i was 16 months old. Im not sure how to handle it. sometimes i cry sometimes i explain to others, but it doesnt feel like she has been gone 15 years. i feel your pain my mom died when i had just turned 10 and we were best friends. she got lymphoma and all the doctors said she would survive because it was very easy to cure. on march 31st the emergency room called and told me, my dad, my 2 sisters and brother that my mom wasnt going to make it and will not be alive by the end of the week. i stayed over at the hospital the whole week and on friday april 4th 2008 my mom took her last breath but i know she is still with me in my heart

I'm so sorry, I can't imagine what it's like to lose a parent so young. Just try to keep remembering the good times you had. I don't know that you'll ever "get over" this, but it does get better. You never stop loving the person or missing them, but remember that she would want you to be happy.

I know how you feel. I was 15 when my mum died, they gave her months and she died 9 years later, we only knew she had cancer for under 2 weeks. 3 weeks before she died one of my best friends, who was also my prom date to be, died at the age of 15 due to leukaemia. Im sorry to hear about your mom. I was 17 when my mom died 1956-2002 its gonna be 9 years on may 20 an its still rough. I hope everything works out for you only thing that helps me is to know i have a constant angle watcing my every step an everything i do is for her n myself by the way im 26 now

My 5th one of these sad stories. I had to look away to keep the ocean I already have down here from drowning me... I paused it and regained myself, then I watched the rest and still cried. Yet again, I send all my sympathy to all who have lost a loved one... I'm glad to still have my parents after seeing these, this has to be my last one because I cant flood my house. I turned 16 in january of 89 and my mom passed away on february 7th 1989 her last words to me were i love you and i'll be back later. well she never cameback, i am now 38 and there isnt a day that goes by that i dont miss her. it still hurts that shes gone and even though its been many years since she's been gone it seems like only yesterday sometimes. we were very close and i still miss her so much. when i look at y kids i couldn't imagine them without me.

About 2 years ago, my mum was diagnosed with ms and was seriously ill in hospital, there was a time when she the doctors said we should prepare ourselves for the worst but luckily my mum had pulled through. I laughed. I couldnt believe it, I really believed she was joking. So my mom died all alone at 1.00 a.m. of 1st November 2007 holdin the hand of the doctor. The trouble is..I wasn't alone, I felt safe with my grandma (what a firework of a woman God how much I miss her!), now I do. Totally. I feel such an horrible person, I can't receive love, and I just believe my mom hated and would have hated me. Just miss all them....

I feel you pain hunny, my mom died in oct 2005, when i was 15 she had a heart attack at 35 years old in our home i woke up to my 10 year old brother and dad screaming cause my mom was lying dead on our floor!! then feb this year my dad couldnt bare not being away from my mom he got more n more depressed and he took his own life !! and left me on my brother on our own nah my brothers 15 i am looking after him so i have had to take on the role of parents for him to keep him sane!

I'm really really sorry for your loss. I know how you feel, my mom died 6 months ago from colon cancer. It spread to her liver and she couldn't recover. I'm 21 but I still can't believe my mom is out of my life..........Its just so hard to believe that.....=(

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. I lost my mom 6 months ago due to colon cancer that spread to her liver. Its so fresh in my mind that it doesn't feel like its been 6 months. And like you said. It still feels like yesterday........and that pain never goes away it seems like. I'm 21 but I still feel really broken hearted my mom is never gonna be around again............=(

even me cant stop crying still remembering my mom she passed away when im not at her side i was far from here and never seen her for two years....i was working in another country only news i recieve that shes gone....i didnt see her even her body..its really hard im still thinking now that she still alive waiting home for me...

Aww I am soo sorry. I know how you feel I lost a pet this year on June 17th 2010. He had to be put to sleep.

i havent seen my mom since i was 5. i miss her so much, i ask my dad all the time where is mom but he says idk it makes me think where she could have gone. i know mom my loved me so much we where seperated and not i miss her alot its hard 4 a 13 yr old girl not to have her mom </3
