for those arguing about the quality of the proposed movie, the movie nor the actors chosen will NEVER satisfy ALL of the readers. just like the Harry Potter movies, it's going to seem short, skip important plot components, and not achieve all the characters' personalities spot-on. that's life.

Kids that are 98% human 2% avian. that 2% gives them wings. they escape from the "School" which created them, in a way. the book is just about them fighting ereasers (evil people who can morph into wolf men), finding their parents and stuff like that. it's realy good, you should read it.

Don't worry, the 4th isn't anything to get excited about, I finished it in literally 25 minutes. It wasn't as good, it was more about the message than the story, which is fine, but it was more like a paper on global warming than anything about the Max we've come to know and love. And the villains didn't get much background so they didn't seem as... villainous... yeah, the worst out of the series, in my opinion :/
