Dude, be happy you had all those years with your mom. Great people die everyday. The only thing certain in life, is death. I say this because my aunt (who had 2 children) died of cancer when her kids (my cousins) were only 5 and 7 years old. Just this passed year, a classmate's mom died of cancer. You're right, it sucks... but part of life; is death.

Jared, I'm going to be completely honest with you. You are an amazing teacher and friend. Even though we've never met in person, I do still consider you a friend. We take pictures to capture a moment, true photographers can bring the feeling out so the camera can capture the emotion, the soul, if the picture is the soul of the captured emotion then we can say we have done our job right.
Jared, Coming from a family that had it's up and down's I know how you feel I lost 3 of my closest uncles at a young age same with my cousin who died in the line of duty cause some guy who was on a cell phone while driving didn't pay attention like he needed to do while driving.
I enjoy the videos you make here on YouTube and I learn many things about holding up the iPhone to take better pictures. I don't know much about DSLR cameras let alone how to take better pictures but I am learning.

This video was put up on a SUNDAY during a holiday which is a day that I normally do not post videos. Love you man, I've learned so much in the past year watching all your video's. You've brought me so far and I'm sure your mom would would be sure proud of you and all that you've done. I fight the same battles inside me my dad past last december, and I know what your feeling man. I'm sure we both are making are loved ones proud and happy of us. Jared, Coming from a family that had it's up and down's I know how you feel I lost 3 of my closest uncles at a young age same with my cousin who died in the line of duty cause some guy who was on a cell phone while driving didn't pay attention like he needed to do while driving.
I enjoy the videos you make here on YouTube and I learn many things about holding up the iPhone to take better pictures. I don't know much about DSLR cameras let alone how to take better pictures but I am learning.

@JaredPolin I don't think most people truly understand the pain of losing a parent until they've actually been through it. Don't worry about all these douche bag haters on here. I lost my father seven years ago and have cried more times than I care to admit this holiday season. I don't really have a shoulder to cry on, my friends don't want to get involved, they don't know what to say. I think this is a great way for you to vent and grieve. Keep doing what you do man. I love the videos!

I would really like to thank you Jared. You're the first person who introduced me into taking RAW photos. I never saw of the point of it until you said the difference. My photography has improved so much with that step. I watched a lot of your videos for lectures. Thanks for helping me discover my unknown talent. Your mother was a great person. @ZOOT1000100 first off, there is the same amount of photo videos that there have been in the past. Not sure how you do not see that. This video was put up on a SUNDAY during a holiday which is a day that I normally do not post videos. But come Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and many Saturdays you have PHOTO RELATED VIDEOS. So please go do your homework before you say that there have been less photo related videos. Thanks
