  • It's a funny thing, Jack .... I don't actually like these cars, I never did, but it's it's been that long since I've seen one, I actually find myself admiring this one :)

  • @drewerz01 Hey, Mike! I liked the styling on this one...almost like the caricature of a toy car! The paint was outstanding! Thanks! :) Jack

  • Thanks Jack, I haven't seen one of those for decades.

  • @Lockemeister Hey, John! I hadn't seen one in a long time either..figured it was a good time to bring one to my viewers! Thank you! :) Jack

  • This one sure looks nice; especially the paint. Back in the day a friend had one and it was really an enjoyable and capable sports. They didn't sell as well as they should have and some feel that it was do to an identity problem.

  • @cheddyrod Hey, Chester! The paint is really outstanding on this car...way back I took a used one for a spin, considering buying it..but didn't. I liked the linear styling...in a way like my Fox body Mustang! Thanks! :) Jack

  • As you might know I am one of the biggest Porsche-Fans out there :)

My dad used to own a 914 and I still have a beautiful picture of my mum, standing next to it in a very classy 70s outfit :)

This one here had some changes to it like the restored Targa-roof ( this one seems to be painted, originally they come with a sort of leather and a targa-sign on the side) and the exhaust.

Don't like those big black US-bumper-cornets :) Take care, Jack

  • @TheGetawayer Hey, Guido! Glad I could video this one for you! Thanks for the information on the roof...and I don't think those hideous bumpers of the 70's on all cars had any fans over here! I'm glad the car brought back such nice memories to you! Thanks! :) Jack

  • Nice looking car. I'd take the 2 litre flat six engine.

  • @Seattlecarnut Hey, Jason! Yes indeed...that would be the engine to have! Thanks! :) Jack

  • @raconter1 Particularly for a sports car like Porsche. 4 cylinder boxer is fine for VW, but for Porsche, definitely 6.
