i had this operation for my knee 2 years ago but still having problems

i am going on 8-26 for mine this is the second knee that i am having done. the first time its not that bad i went to work 7 days later. this time i am only taking off 6 days from work it really is not that bad .

would you have to be on crutches after the surgery? if so for how long??

i wrecked a dirtbike a long time ago

and i got alot of fluid in my leg

so i went to the docter and he took a needle and took all the fluid out and now my knee still hurts at times

(expessually when im sitting in the floor and im fixing to stand up)

does anyone think this is the problem with my knee???????

@mickieftw it might be arthritis. i have it too and ive got fluid on the top of my knee cap. I had my knee drained too, twice, and yeah it didnt do much either. i'd get it checked out.

i get my meniscus fixed on aug 25 i am a little scared

well i tore my meniscus and it only hurt for about 30 minutes after i fell.

before i got the MRIs back i went to an amusement park without my brace on and it never hurt me once and the next day my doctor called and told me i tore it

i think i tore my miniscus when i was skateboarding it popped know it pops if i move it wrong and it locks in place iwhere a knee brace for it

Have a similar issue with a partial ACL tear and cartilage tear. Thinking of consulting an orthopedic surgeon soon. Thanks for the info.

dont be a pussy (in a good way) it is a 40 min operation, you sleep, and one second later they wake you up everything is ready! you dont have eny pain later and it is great after all!
