blue servos r waterproof others can be made to be by switching cases. also if you plan on running them in temps under 45f it causes it to run hot.... and you cant turn out the idle enouth to compensate for it.. so I found that older engine runs better in such condition... newer overheat... I run my new 3.3 in temp approx 25f and it always overheats.. if the temp is around 45f its sweet

u should buy a 7,2 v battery pack and a quick charger... run it gently when u break it in and use 20 % nitro fuel..wash it after dirty running ;) hope this helps

Well I have a t maxx 2.5 and the first theng you nead is a good battery.I cant reamember the brand but it was cheep.Next you nead a good charger the one I have is a (Prphet plus charger.)Next you nead after run oil and if the box tells you to put it in the carb DONT.Onley put it in the head.The finle theng you nead is extra glow plugs.If you nead more healp jest let me know.

really my hobby store has more revo parts then t-maxx parts and my friend has a t-maxx and his broke while the revo did the same jump and nothing happened, plus my other friend has the revo and has crates full of revo parts, so i dont have to worry about buying ne parts lol

yea the t-maxx is a good truck but the revo was a little more expensive and mine came with titanium shocks, upgraded air filter, resonator pipe, blue anodized hub caps, and 1 steering servo instead of 2

the shocks arnt made of titanium. They are aluminium with teflon coating. But the shafts are titanium nitride. But how is it? Think ill pick my revo up this friday :D

if ou want a better perfroming truk at offroad you should get the revo, but the tmaxx is better when it ome to gettin the truk wet, i mean the servos in the revo are in a box so when you take it to mmm a pond the water stays in the box and it kills the servos and the servos in the tmaxx are not in a box so if they get wet the can dry more easily than in the revo, was i clear? maybe im a little confusing lol

my engine revs so much when it want to stall, either when i'm pinching the fuel line or it loses fuel. what's wrong with that?

That's normal when trying to stall the engine. When pinching the fuel line, you're starving the engine of fuel, meaning it's running super lean, to the point that it dies out. Same goes for the last few drops of fuel in your tank...

Yes the tires spin because the engine is revving higher, just like they do when you pull the trigger :)

Nope, in fact that's most recommended way to stall your engine. It's more likely "worse" to pinch the fuel line because your engine runs very lean, although it's only for a few seconds and not enough to do any damage.

if ur a beginner, then a buggy. its more stable then a truck, cheaper and less fuel used (around 300-500$). a truck is more for "professionals" though its from 600-1000$ a starter kit. and + it depends where you want to go. if you want to go bashing, then a truck. if you want to do races then... buggy or sport (sport is only for flat terains although a buggy is for both flat and sand/mud)

If you owna Tmaxx or a jato I highly suggest you buy aftermarket aluminum/titanium parts and you wont break it. The parts on it are pretty damn cheap I am quite unhappy with the quality of the jato parts... its fkign composite plastic and its thin so it breaks easy. Ordering aluminum parts this week
