The first time I ever went on Space Mountain was when they were doing the Rockin promotion thing and I oved it :D It only made it more magical and if people don't like it cuz they can "see the track" they are babies you see whats 5 feet ahead of you and thats it and the lights are cool and space-y

i read an article about the reason they took it away was because at night people would come to get on it and alot of people would come i mean alot and too many people caused it to be closed so people wouldnt wait 75 minutes then the park closes so thats the reason why

@mjking099 The reason they closed it was because it was only a temporary promotion.... Ghost Galaxy had a 110 minute wait last year on opening day, and they brought it back this year....

Nope the one in florida was different. They closed it down recently to make it something like this one. But the I think the one you went on was rock n roller coaster, which is faster in comparison to this one.

Cedar point and other places like that lack atmosphere. Rollercoasters are great...except when the theme is...well...roller coaster. Other factors are needed to enhance the ride, the old plain coasters of the day just dont cut it anymore. That new Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket at Universal will change your mind probably. Its breakin the world record for height of a single loop.

the reason the lights are there becuase it's rockin space mountain there has to be lights for a rock show so it adds a good effect, this ride was amazing with the music!!!!!!!

Heh just a californian test for the already built rollercoaster Rock N Rollercoaster at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort Paris. As california doesnt have the ride they changed Space Mountain into it which I dont like =__= They should just leave Space Mountain alone as it was already awesome and just build a Rock N Rollercoaster >.>

As you probably know, bigguy714, that was the original plan - Space by day, RockIt by night. However, there's just no graceful way to make the transition between day/night. Plus some guests are only in the park at night, and some guests are just plain confused, and what do you do about fastpasses? So you see, it's just not practical.

Another problem with this ride is that it as a computer glitch which randomly crashes the ride and forces them to reset it which takes 1 hour and a half. It broke down once on friday and again the following sunday. and thats when they said it was a computer glitch.
