  • So if every elevator in the building is inground, what makes this holeless?

  • I meant holeless... look at the video of the glass lifts...

  • You sure that isn't inground?

  • yeah

  • I would investigate a bit more. We have found that most Schindlers that we thought were holeless are inground.

  • every schindler in the bldg is holeless. The majority of the lifts in the building are MontgomeryKONE

  • Alright, I believe you.

  • All Nordstrom elevators are schindler and have the same design.

  • no, I've seen an OTIS elevator at several, and some montgomery's, and montgomeryKONE's, all with different designs!!!

  • Yes, Nordstrom uses the SAME DESIGN on all new store elevators, and many different designs for older stores

  • Too bad this isn't a traction elevator.

  • Unfortunatly, Nordstrom only uses traction elevators for 3 or more floors, but for 2 floor stores, they use hydraulic, and have one elevator, as these stores are usually smaller, and are abreveated stores, respectively, since 2-story stores don't have as many departments 9/10 cases

  • Also, some Nordstrom locations move into former department stores, and make them higher end, even though most use 2-floor hydraulic elevators.

  • well, this one was built new, and before it was built, there was nothing there except more parking
