One more thing.

Virtual memory helps you if you got low RAM like 512mb or 1gb.

So when your RAM gets full, your V.M. tricks OS to think its RAM, so your computer goes faster, instead of using HARD DISK.

And higher you set your V.M. your computer goes slower.

So i suggest you better get a GB or 2 of extra RAM.

It's only 65536 colors and on 32bit its 65536 x2 colors. It's much better to leave it on 32bit!

@rotflolDHG You probably have ccleaner set to "run when windows starts" you can turn that off OR open ccleaner and uncheck the box on the left side that says "saved passwords" under internet explorer ( or whatever internet browser you are using).

by the way ccleaner deletes files you need then when you say get a virus your pc tries to find those files when doing system restore

Try these steps:

1. Right click on your desktop and select "personalize". (should be at the bottom)

2. click on the "Windows 7" theme.

3. The just close out. That should work as long as all the boxes are checked. If not, lemme know..

@MrRogueEntertainment The reason i said it wasn't a good program is because some people don't know what to download from it and a lot of the time people get viruses from it. I usually can tell the difference if the file is a "good" file before i download it.

PS: I don't use Limewire anymore, instead i go with Frostwire. It's basically the same thing...

Dont forget after you disc clean up, run error-checking, then you run defrag after thats done. Error checking can greatly increase speed on a newly install windows!
