  • Just layering bass over the zelda melody does not work so well. Splicing "traditional melodies" onto strict-meter tracks demands some skill: notes need to be stretched or shortened. Examples on how to do: "Barber/Albinoni - Adagio for Strings" --> "Rise of the Triad - Adagio for Strings" / "William Orbit - Adagio for Strings". Also listen to "Talamsca - Life stream" for a non-classic example of how melodies can be applied to Goatrance, or some stuff from Astral Projection for psychedelic.

  • I really love the intro, its' like "I'm out to save the world while i dance shuffle!" it gets kind of a loop in the other parts of the song but i dont blame you because the original one is an infinite loop of the same, anyway i love this remix!

  • I like the feel of the song, and it is really great and I agree with some of the others on here, little less jump, more of the melody.. but other wise, I really like this song

  • Where's the "Love Button"

  • I'm playing this on my birthday. And later in life, I'm playing this on my birthday again, to make a point. =D

  • ZELDA 4 LIFE <33333333333333333333

  • the beat jumps around a lot, try an epic feel. no matter how many times i got to an epic songs page, nothing but good reviews. listen to some immediate music, or two steps from hell, that's the "epic" i was talking about. keeping a techno feel, with a crazy catchy melody would wreck competition.

  • like the intro better than the rest sry my opinion =|

  • having heard many remixes of many songs i feel you knew how to change it so that it fits the beat and dosnt butcher the song but i feal that the added parts should better fit the adventurous nature of the origional. it seems like the mood of the song isnt wat it used to be.

  • pues no tiene nada de PsyTrance ¬¬

  • would have to agree on only making the lower frequencies duck, when mixing that into another tune youll lose half of it. specially on a loud system,

  • Melody ducked under the bass drum gets kind'a jumpy. it works on the sustains but not really elsewhere. The melody just gets buried. The production sounds good here, but it's not very fun to listen to, same thing over and over. More dynamics, more excitement! XD

  • thanks mate, really good comment, i just started producing and these are the comments i wanted to see :) i'll use your remaks for my next production, btw i really like heavy sidechain compression that makes that "Ducking" sound, it makes the sound more "cool" xD but if you say its annoying i'll think twice before i'll make my melodies jump again ;p

  • If you could split the lead to only duck the lower frequencies on the bass drum the higher frequencies should make it still seem like a continuous, sustained note instead of a jumpy one, and you don't lose the pumping effect. Pads and stuff should definitely be ducked in this genre tho, subtly or aggressively depending on the song.

  • hmm, i recently started too. and i know exactly what problem that is. Making the song is only 80%. mixing it right is the remaining 20.

  • Not bad tomy..i belive you ill create some thing better than this dont yah :P ?
