  • Ok.... So, the "perfect body" gets the shaft. It gets thrown into the trash. What about the woman who HAS that body? Should she try and hide it to please these "real" women? Does it make her less real because she was born with a small waist and large breasts? There's a good chance she's not comfortable with the size of her breasts or has other insecurity about her body's shape. There are definitely women with such bodies and they're just as 'real'.

  • well... they are skinny and beutiful what about the girls like me who look nothing like that??!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How did I get here from Android 17 killing Dr.Gero?

  • they're still thinnier than me

  • They still look thin and amazing... =S

  • These girls have bodies that are unattainable to many. I am not fat, not skinny, in the middle. I have bulimia. Seeing these girls did not help me like othere Dove commercials. They are young one is super skinny. They are both gorgeous.

  • @alliekjaersgaard They are both real, but for themselves. I think they could have gotten heavier or "less symmetrical" girls for the campaign. If I could look like them, I wouldn't have any issues with my body either. But I'm sure you're just as gorgeous, even if you don't resemble the "ideal" poster as much.<3

  • @Kattaccino Why are beautiful people not allowed to be 'real?' These girls are really typical, average young women- even in America. One look into a senior-class locker room or a gym targeting 18-30 year old women shows you the truth to this.

  • @veganphyllocrust I didn't say they're not allowed to be real! As I said, they're both real. But they're they're closer to the 'ideal' poster than most girls I know. Of course people like this exist; these girls are proof. However, many of the girls who do have self-esteem issues (though I know everyone has their moments) typically do not have relatively hour-glass-shaped figures. I was simply trying to state that, to those who may be fuller, that the girls in the video aren't the only standard

  • I think it would be more effective if the women in the ad werent so small and gorgeous :P

  • @beanniesalsa07 Those were world average (not american average) women.

  • @beanniesalsa07 You know? In the rest of the world (meaning outside America) these girls are considered average...specially the brunette one. Yeah, the blonde one is skinny but I wouldn't say she has a perfect body because she's very very skinny in a boyish kind of way...so her body is beautifully average and nowhere nearly model like. The brunette is just not skinny, she's thin and curvy. These ARE average girls...average doesn't mean fat and ugly.

  • @beanniesalsa07 Totally agree

  • i wanna break this picture.

  • I want to throw that in the trash too. =)

  • Fun. She says "bady".
