  • lovely time laps

    im wondering though..

do u really need to build a external interval remote to do clean, sequenced time lapses?

i would've thought there would be some kind of commercial product out but there doesn't seem to be.. i would really like something like this for my 350D but i wouldn't know where to begin in building one :(

  • it can be found in amazon under the name "TR-C Timer Remote Control for Canon"

  • Thanks! since the last comment ive made ive have found afew things.. there are interval timers you can buy of ebay for about £20.. not sure how reliable they are though

  • but very nice :)

  • "It's interesting to note that the original size of this clip is 3456x2304 pixels"

:D why do you do that so big while you know that full is 1920x1080

i thing that if you done it "just" 1920x1080 it will be much better - also for youtube and also for computer becoase it would be sharpener ( and the size of it would be aslo mych smaller

  • [continues] that format is 16:9 (which is longer than 3:2, as in 16:9 the longer side is almost twice as the short side, and in 3:2 the long side is just one and a half times the short side), so either it's letterboxed or cropped.

But you are perfectly right, such a huge resolution is just a waste of space and time, unless one needs the still photos at the highest quality for other purposes.

  • nice vid.

I'm with you, youtube is ruining everything.

which intervals did you used ?

check my vid, I also have some time-lapse-video-test.
