Have you changed the tubes in your piggy? I've got 2 super cool metal case Ken-Rad 6L6's on the way for mine. Don't know how the metal case will work out but should be cool!
@LeviMan2001 I have not changed the tubes thus far, but I have a crackly pre amp tube (12ax7) and decided to replace it with a EHx 12ay7 because I like the warmer clean rather than the brutal HiGain sound and thought this would spread the spectrum a little further.
Should fit it really, but I have so many amps I forget and just keep playing it! This stays forever though as is so so useful size, volume and tone.
@fendertelecaster1963 ,I Do Not have a camera, So I just watch video's here on utube. This amp I have is hard to find. Use to see them on ebay. They are better than the fenders and i do love the fender's, This amp is solid , The Box is Plywood, Not the cheap stuff they make amp's out of today. Smooth creamy tube sound and a really nice Blues Distortion. You won't need the Blues Driver. Go out and get yourself one of these amp's... You won't be sorry.
if you don't mind me asking, where did you get the G60VR?
I managed to score a 30/60 but I'm still waiting to have the power converted to Australian. I really do love the pignose sound. I mean the 7-100s are okay from HK but the older badboys are a charm (mine cost $30 wtf)
If you find the G40V then you will not be disappointed is good both in home and at gigs - 40 monster watts!
Also there are the G60Vs which also have Reverb and an FX loop - 60Watts
Look quickly as they no longer show on Pignose website but are around used and old stock. Believe me, my G40V sounded better than my 59 Bassman both hot and clean! ~ I no longer have the Bassman!
(O Trading Company on ebay 'OTC')and catch one 'under bid' you have little to lose. Currently the Teles go for about $60 (£50) but sometimes as little as $30. HC has some reviews if you want to read others' views.
The Pignose G40V is an all tube 3x12AX7 and 2x6L6, 40w, 1x10" modelled on a Fender 59Bassman but with added gain circuit. As of 11/7/08 I found a UK vendor here: tinyurl dotcom/5bll8g - But I got mine off ebay for £160 just 1 month old. There is also a G60V too and Pignose in US will offer technical support via email. Good luck with your OTC semi - I am waiting for one of their White Strats to come also...
ive bought a load of guitars from otc, i found that they mainly go cheap on the electronis and machine heads, so just upgrade those parts and youve an ok guitar

The only thing about pignose, is it needs reverb knob.

OMG I was innocently browsing for songs to maybe cover. Feel like I've stumbled into an alternate universe via Linda Ronstadt!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
The sound rocks, the performance not. Very good recording with that cheap gear.
