Can I install a game through HD Loader using a backup copy of a DVD?

I put in a valid god of war disc, and HDloader says disc inserted is not a valid PS2 disc? What gives?! The laser is fine and it plays the game fine!

why is that when i connect the Harddisk of my ps2 to my computer is does not show? i cannot open it to my computer? is there a program need to be installed first so i can access the harddisk of ps2... Because im planning to copy the games to another harddisk...

Not true, the american ps2 CAN read foreign games, but it doesn't :p

when u say it dose no do backups wat if u av had ur ps2 chipped also when i put in an original it just says on reading disk will it work on english playstation 2

can u help me, im using my bros old mac hard drive and i formatted it on my computer so nothing would be on it, and my ps2 wont recognize that it is there and comes up with an error screen that says could not finf=d hard drive or something PLZ HELP!!!!

i know what is a harddrive but do i need usb drive or what

@odan360 no, you need fliptop cover for ps2, hd advance swap discs, ps2 network adapter... you don't attached it to pc only to ps2 and it's network adapter

Second question, How can I play Snes games the same way (on FAT ps2 console).

HdLoader has a 90% compatibility, but 10% of the games wont work.

Some games just dont run with it.
