when they are done, are they suppose to be soft inside? and hard outside or kind of soft both in and out? mine tend to sweat when i put them in the fridge.
Wish I had a dehydrater :o I haven't heard of those in a looong time and I am just turning raw.. Any, making this a fav so I remember the recipe for when I get one :D
@JohnnyRawAppleseed People are stuck in a system of Medical doctors and pharmaceutical drugs!! Its all LIES!!! Heal your body with Plant based living nutrition!! Gluten and dairy is why people are so sick and obese!. but its hard to convince stubborn brainwashed ignorant Americans!
I recognize the recipe! I made them, too, but only dehydrated them for a few hours. I thought they needed something also, but it's a good place to start. Also, the original recipe doesn't call for dehydration unless one wants too. I think most folks will want to. The tomato catsup recipe that goes with them (in that book I won't mention) is absolutely delicious.
Sunfire salt? Never seen this one before...Not on any of the health food stores nearby. Would there be any other salt choice I could do and still remain raw/live?
im trying this one - i like the way your stuff actually forms into patties, or balls - my stuff never takes shape - always too sticky or doughy or runny blegh!
I've improved on this! add oil and lots of spice like rosemary etc...man the last batch I've made are soooo good, and I figured out how to dress it with mock mayo and lettuce and onions....sooo good
you took some tasty food and turned it to junk.

What if one doesn't have a dehydrator? Possible to heat it in an oven on 250 degrees?

why is it on the stove? and in a cooking pot? that is funny to me.
baylorite 3 years ago
counter space is full, stove is empty. pots are bigger than bowls and easier to mix food in. it is silly indeed

I am going to try this. Thanks!

this looks really good, I don't have a dehydrater though, what's the difference between cooking it in the oven and a dehydrator?

Cooking destroys vital nutrients. Flax is an omega oil and should not be heated it will become a bad fat.

Hi,
How long did you dehydrate these and at what temp.?
They look really good.
veganhomeschoolmom 3 years ago
I dehydrate around 110 for a while...maybe a day...how long it takes, I'll say a day or so. flax makes everything dry faster.
JohnnyRawAppleseed 3 years ago
Did you dehydrate anything shown on this video? Could you post the updated recipe?
peposo7 3 years ago
@JohnnyRawAppleseed
can you not DHYRT at all?
