    What do yall do for your calluses? Yall shave em down flat or just leave em how they are? When I do my pull-ups and what not I have to use just my fingers to hold on cause it's mad painfull on my calluses to hold on with my palms. I just gotta man up or what? lol.

  • I definitely include calisthenics in (or out) of the gym, along with heavy weights. But calisthenics isn't all that "lower body friendly," and I don't wanna have a strong tight upper body, being supported by toothpick legs lol ( I see that alot in the gym). Anybody true fitness guru will tell you, it takes strong legs to support ur body and even draw strength from ur legs (and back). But, YES I am for all forms of calisthenicsm, or anything that's for fitness!!

  • @Orbot You have not explored the vastness of lower body calisthenics workouts. We have a video on this page demonstrating very tough workouts that will not only build size but agility, speed, strength, and a higher jump. Those weren't even all the new exercises we added to are arsenal, along with the added benefit of not having a ton of weight pressing down on your spine compacting it.

  • @BarStarzz Oh trust me, I actually do, do some lower body work outs that don't require weights, and they're effective, but at the same time, there really are certain lower body workouts that do require some sort of equipment usage! Overall, as long as the body is being pushed to or beyond it's limits physically, I am all for it! Physical activity of any sort is a must, especially in black/hispanic neighborhoods, where there's such a low emphasis on nutrition and excercise. We have the highest ..

  • @BarStarzz ...rates of overweight, high blood, diabetes, etc. all because our surroundings aren't geared in that area. Pretty much every corner store bodega is filled with 98% junk that will just pack on pounds and make the body slothful! (Sorry for typing so much man! lol)

  • @quikieemart I know what you mean about getting weird looks at the gym. I don't have any decent parks in my area so I'm stuck at the gym at the moment. It's amazing how hardly anybody uses the bars and those that do can barely manage 5 pull ups.

  • gos to show you dont need a gym to get the body you want and id bet any money these guys eat just like profesional bodybuilders although they may not train like them personally i think they got it harder props
