WOW!!! ..... How old are you my friend? You look so young, but your playing is so mature. I am so happy that I accidentally have found this video :) Really impressed! Ho have you learned with? And my I ask, what cello do you have? It sounds extraodrinary. Has a wonderful, strong and clear tone. A good mesh with its cellist!

Yes I keep returning to this performance. Pablo's rendition of this music outshines the other world famous performers that you see pushing out this music on Youtube. For me his playing has a newness and an emotional content that is rarely seen - the notes are sometimes crying with pain, other times soaring to the heavens. The french horn players are also doing a fabulous job.

This young cellist has the profound innate ability to directly communicate the almost gut-wrenching emotional essence of music with even a few notes, calling to my mind Kogans performance of the Tchaikovsky concerto.
As once I had the extraordinary privilege of hearing Kogan in concert, so I hope that some day I may also be so fortunate as to hear this wonderful cellist in concert.
Until such time, I look forward to when more recordings of his performances become available
