What I love most about MF is that every song contains either wit, deep thoughts, or poignant moments, or all of the above (e.g. "Luckiest Guy...").  It really is poetry. But MF doesn't rest there... on top of that base, they (Stephin Merritt really) throw on the most diverse instruments and unusual melodies ever assembled.
