@costasm92 Where did you see the word "electric" in my comment? Look up 'acoustic guitar' on Wikipedia. When you cover the opening to the sound board with an electronic device that senses the string vibration to produce the sound, it is no longer a pure acoustic PERFORMANCE. If the sensor is a permanent part of the instrument (as in, not removable without rendering the instrument unplayable), then the guitar would NOT be an acoustic guitar ... but that's not my point.

@beamergoogoo yea even when you use a p/up in an acoustic its still considered "acoustic". You could say when you mic a guitar and go to a DI box and then to a sound board/PA its no longer purely acoustic. Onces your sound goes to any signal path it gets colored to some degree unfortunately. But the sound hole cover is optional. They claim it helps fight feedback and produces a richer sound or something. In this case it esp helps with using a piezo or undersaddle pup like hes got.

@beamergoogoo nevertheless miced, or using a pup to an amp or sound board electric guitars and acoustics or acoustic electrics are totally different animals and make totally different sounds when plugged in too. If we didnt amp up acoustics or mic em up Andy Mckee, Don Ross or Tommy Emmanuel would never play live :) I prefer a mixed signal, internal mic with a magnetic pup into a pre amp and soundboard. Sounds very natural.

his voice is so amazing honestly he wouldnt even need the guitar in the background he could sing it a capella and he would still be amazing his songs have this crazy affect its like when u rub a dogs stomach and they clothes there eyes and moan well when i hear him sing i cant stop myself from closing my eyes and swaying and sometimes there is a bit of a moan LULZ

thanks for the upload. I actually pulled out my guitar and played and sang right along to it. As I was listening to Aaron and myself sing it, I actually got choked up and a few tears fell down my face towards the end because the lyrics touch me so much that I couldn't help it. This is definitely one of my most favorite Staind songs ever!
