In the late 80's, my Trio sailed from Lahaina harbor on Maui for a company called club Lanai and for 4 hours per night and five nights per week for two and a half years, it was subjected to sea air and it never glitched on me. Now that I see that midi sax ... I recognize that ... i saw that at a sam ash almost 20 years ago. They don't seel those anymore (not in the stores anyway) I've seen that trumpet as well but recently...

Well I do travel a lot, but I don't have as many problems as one would expect. However, TSA people are really intrigued and amazed when the take it out to look at it. I also have my midi sax in the same case so it makes for some interesting conversations. I think the horn looks different (more like a trumpet) lying flat in the case when it's scanned.
