I think they could get the graphics looking somewhere near the looks of this. They just have to realise that they only have 2 fighters, a ref, the octogon and some fans on screen at once. Esp considering they only have a few enviroments and what not. With a MMA/boxing game they don't have to spend so much power and time on a 1000 character models, TONS of enviroments and a million different art techniques, plus more. I just think devs are lazy with sports games. Esp fighting games.

I am in jiu jitsu, Kickboxing, Muy thai, freestyle wrestling, and boxing, with a bit of judo i watch all mma fights, and i can say what THQ did was impresive and was better than i expected for a first game but did not feel like a real mma fight. it wasn't that great.(Ground game was HORRIBLE just horrible, its not realistic to get to mount position every time you get on expert mode especially,and the submissions suckd

The systems we have at the moment can't produce these kind visuals. They could come close, but still wouldn't look as good. They also can't produce animation that good either. This video is only a CG video, the game didn't look like that when the video was released at E3. Plus if they even came close to those visuals, then they wouldn't have improvements for the next games visuals, so it's a good idea they held back. But THQ sucks with graphics, the WWE games still don't look truly next gen.

buyer beware the single player hard mode of this game isnt really that difficult it just grapple cheats, theres no real challenge or skill it just plain cheats, only way around is to avoid grappling the computer on hard mode at all.
