  • omg i remember this from when i was little thank you

  • @10birdk Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

  • @10birdk Happy Holidays!!!!

  • one word: glutony

  • @lorand133 OMG!

  • At 2:42, you can see Michael Jackson in pilgrim drag. Thanks for posting fellow jaker. This special makes Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving look like horse crap. I see the one Indian puts his dirty hands all over that cake. He might as well had eaten it all anyway because they didn't have Purell on hand for the plague. Michael Jackson loved this special so much when he was younger that he demanded to have his face transformed into that of the woman at 2:42. About 5 months until Thanksgiving...

  • @philliesfanjake RIP Michael Jackson

  • The 4 kids dancing at 2:10...imagine they became 2 married couples when they were older.

  • This special was made in 1971. The year I was born. It preceded the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special by 2 years. Both are excellent Thanksgiving shows. I wish there were more like them.

  • @LatinSith Me 2

  • Hey jake83777 they still do play this special, If you have cable, they play it every year on boomerang. Check it out (next Thanksgiving)

  • @mezipe64 OK

  • Your only favorite? What about "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving?""

  • @moviencartoons2 That Too!

  • i have not seen this for quite some time. thxs!!! :)

  • This looks animatedly fun

  • This special is horrible, and I love every second of it

  • @Curttehmurt I know right?! I watch it every year, despite it being horribly flawed. Good to see all those women doing all the work, look at them, they know they're place.

  • This and "A Christmas Story,"(The Hanna-Barbera cartoon, not the movie), should be out on DVD.

  • ...and here the history books make it sound so dismal.

This is how it REALLY was back on the first Thanksgiving! :O) ha!

  • This is blasphemy ! M.C. Asian turkey is the bomb!

  • @mcasianturkey lol, what? :3

  • I used to love this special on cartoonnetwork. And i loved the song, thanks so much for uploading it.

  • It was no problem at all. Glad you liked it.

  • It was in Boomerang, lastnight. I loved this cartoon as a kid, though.

  • Yeah, I taped this from Boomerang during Thanksgiving 2008. It seems like they will put it on every year.

  • I also like how that one Indian grabs the whole cake and is like.. "WTF? Oops! Sorry!" And puts it down.

  • I have to admit that's my favorite part too. I also like that guy who puts his cup above the other guy's cup when the cider is being poured. But yeah, that Indian feels pretty embarrassed. He reminds me of a character named John Redcorn in the show "King of the Hill"

  • Can you please upload the movie? I've always wanted to relive those memories from 2003!

  • 2003? Surely you mean those memories from the 70's! This is a classic favorite that I watched as a kid, and that was only in the 80's as a rerun from the 70's! Gotta love Hanna-Barbera! There's not mistaking a Hanna-Barbera classic! They were and probably will always be the best cartoons ever made!

  • I agree that Hanna-Barbera always made the best cartoons. It doesn't get much better than H-B.

  • 2003, are you for real? lol

  • Sorry, I don't have the whole show. I was only able to tape the songs. It's nice that something from the 70s can be cherished by somebody as a memory in 2003. Obviously you were introduced to it in 2003 but it's been around for over 30 years.

  • I Love this SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the special! I miss it! lol Thanks Alot for posting it! HAPPY TURKEY DAY! GOD BLESS! GIVE THNAKS! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

  • God bless you too & I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving

  • I can't find this special ANYWHERE on the net...this is as close as I can get...thank you so much. :) Happy Turkey Day.

  • You're very welcome. Glad to have been of help. I wish I had taped the whole show. Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving

  • Thanks for the memories, buddy.

  • You're more than welcome & thanks for commenting. It's very appreciated & it's nice to see that "The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn't" hasn't been forgotten.

  • @jake83777 MMM HMM

  • @theblackshampoo Thanks

  • Wow, June Foray in this sepcial? I love her and her characters, in fact she's even a friend of the family! One of my favorites is when WItch Hazel amuses herself, leaps into the air cackling, and then zips off leaving bobby pins behind! "AEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEE!" Always cracks me up! XD Oh, and then there was the grandmother in Mulan:

MULAN: (to Shang) "Would you like to stay for dinner?"

GRANDMA: (calling out) "Would you like to stay forever?"

That one is one of my favorites from that movie!

  • That's cool that June Foray is a friend of your family. Hopefully you had a great Thanksgiving.

  • I did, Cousin Deni cooked a wonderful meal (not that she did it on her own, but she was the head cook). I always love her rolls, and the turkey was good too. Then dessert, always my favorite! P:

  • @jake83777 Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

  • @MWolfL GO MULAN!!!!
