this performance is all smoke and mirrors. it's to make you forget how gawd-awful she was when she started shrieking. She saw Lambert do it the year before and figured all shrieking was good shrieking. What she failed to realize is that it requires control...something Lambert had, she didn't. god, i hated her. awful. but this performance was nice.
i have to say i am not an american idol fan at all but, when i watched the show and seen Siobhan i was instantly HOOKED i love her soo much i dont know what it is about her. She actually gave me the chills and that only happens to me with the nation anthem. I would tell her Siobhon never give up YOU WONT FAIL!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE
What a shameful, unjustifiable upset on what is supposed to be America's biggest show of the year. The million dollar question is, what or who determines who wins this show, 'cause it sure isn't the viewer. I'm wondering if it's a sympathy ploy, the contestant who's had the worst childhood, the poorest, more obstacles in their life. If that's the case, Mamasox will win this year, She can sing but not like Siobhan, but she's appealing to everybody's sympathy.
Siobhan's fans by far the most charitable in AI season 9. She raises the top dollar!!!The only Season 9 contestant to pass the thousand dollar mark was Top 6 finalist Siobhan Magnus with $4,700. This just explains everything, she rocks!!!

@IPhotoGraphBeauty i heard facebook posted the wrong numbers on thier website mixing up Siobhan's vote number with school boy aaron which if its true ... millions of votes could of been sent to the wrong person... it makes sense .. aaron's been in the bottom 3 for 3 weeks running then suddenly not even in the bottom 3 ... he wasent that good this week either.
I thought I was the only one who noticed! This happened in Season 4 too. Vonzell Solomon was always a bit under par until one week where she did amazing and never left that spot. The Simon kept criticizing her perfect performances and she was eliminated in the Top 3, all because he wanted Carrie to win..
If they do that to Siobhan, this show will be dead to me.

Now only one girl left, and I have my doubts about Crystal. Judges have tried to get her to come out of her shell all season. Can't think of the last time a girl won Idol. There technically isn't a copyright on the audio as far as I know, and Siobhan Magnus herself would have to complain to me about the picture for it to have a valid reason to be removed.

@sportyster I disagree. Look, siobhan doesn't play a role, she is just being herself. She expresses hereself- for others weirdly- in such way that i becomes striking and interesting. Therefore she is a total artist. I would want to hear her voice on the radio not only becuase i want to be entertained, but also inspired by her powerful voice and personality that she expresses everytime she takes the stage aqnd leaves me with my jaw dropped.^^

Absolutely Siobhan is a true artist. She has superstar quality. She will take the path of many other singing artist turned to acting like Judy Garland, Barbara Streisand, Madonna, Mark Walberg, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Will Smith, Bette Midler, Queen Latifah, Dolly Parton and Cher. Need I go on? It is about talent. Like it or not. This is what talent shows are about, Discovering new superstars. People do not go to see just a guitar soloist like Dylan these days? They want entertainment.
Siobhan is suited for Broadway much like Adam Lambert. They aren't true artists, they get up on stage and play a role. She has a good voice, I'll give her that but I can't envision listening to her on the radio. The true talent this season are those that aren't manufactured, they are artistic and real like Crystal, Cassie and Lee.

Lee I can see fitting into the Nickelback-type thing in pop. And who is Cassie? If you mean Casey, then he's not going to be pop either because he's strictly a blues/country guitar kind of artist...in other words, serious music that doesn't fit in with trash today.

Her voice leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not impressed in the least. If she's the best of this season, then American Idol produce needs to take a couple of years off and let the talent pool regenerate.
I love the dark, moody, and emotional songs she has sung so far. The fit her voice well. Her voice carries like Ronstadt's and she can probably sing anything! Such a pretty girl and a fantastic singer too . . . she should go far even if she doesn't win.
Her voice is absolutely beautiful. I haven't cared about or paid much attention to American Idol since the first season (I loved Kelly's voice), but I really like this girl.

I saw a few of her videos on youtube and apparently she's in a lot of theater so I can only assume she's had some vocal coaching along the way. Her voice is ridiculously good.

Agree 100%. Crystal is fantastic and stays on pitch more consistently than Siobhan, but Siobhan's voice is just mesmerizing.She has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard on AI and I've been watching since season 6!
Siobhan should have won this year with Crystal number two. They were both more talented that Lee. Lee should have been number three.

@whatamalaysian Yeah it is pretty stupid. Didi, the hot blone chick, got lots of stick for trying something new which in my opinion was decent, while Crystal gets rapped by Ellen and that clueless insecure kara for not dropping the guitar, which has worked miracles for her thus far.

I loved this song choice. A great way to show what she can do. Think IMO was fine but this one stood out for me.

Siobhan is my first choice, then Crystal of the ladies..> The only two in my opinion that show real promise... the Men just aren't stepping up. Last year Adam was the greatest, but we all know why He lost... because he was 'different'.

I love Crystal but Siobhan has the best vocals this year no question about it. The way she sings this song from high to low with ease is amazing.

Agreed. I love Mrs. Magnus, Crystal and Lilly, but Siobhan definitely has the most polished voice.
I saw a few of her videos on youtube and apparently she's in a lot of theater so I can only assume she's had some vocal coaching along the way. Her voice is ridiculously good.

@TristanandIsolt sure it can cost the title. It all boils down to who likes to pay for voting the candidates. She does not fit the ideal of many people... But never say never... Obama won, too! Maybe she will continue charming people til the end and surprise us all.

Agree 100%. Crystal is fantastic and stays on pitch more consistently than Siobhan, but Siobhan's voice is just mesmerizing.She has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard on AI and I've been watching since season 6!
