The reason Ray went through those sins is to illustrate how we all are guilty of sin, which is why we need the cross. There's no point of the cross if someone's perfect, and the law shows that.
Also, in wanting people to follow the laws, Pharisees are known for altering the laws to make themselves look like they fulfill them. And Jesus preached more about Hell than Heaven.

He referenced the Christian terms of "Heaven" and "Hell" and "the bible" because 25-33% of the world is Christian. Other religions have their own names for these things. God must have been pretty lonely up there in heaven before Jesus came down to die for our sins (if that's what you believe) cause the only people that would have made it were children that were too young to talk. He set his standards a little high.

That a bad person knows they're a bad person doesn't prove that God exists. It only proves that there are people out there who know that what they're doing is wrong and are actively lying to themselves and others that they're perfectly okay people.
That transaction doesn't appear to involve any force, being, or person other than the liar. Jesus has nothing to do with it.

Furthermore, Jesus' preaching was not mostly about hellfire but primarily about focusing on generosity and kindness, forgiveness and openness as a way for humanity to reach the divine. Ray Comfort and the like are obsessed with sin, guilt and death, like the Pharisees.

The reason Ray went through those sins is to illustrate how we all are guilty of sin, which is why we need the cross. There's no point of the cross if someone's perfect, and the law shows that.
Also, in wanting people to follow the laws, Pharisees are known for altering the laws to make themselves look like they fulfill them. And Jesus preached more about Hell than Heaven.

Oh you guys...seriously? He's not opening up a religious debate here. The whole point of having a religion is to instill morals in humanity. He referenced the Christian terms of "Heaven" and "Hell" and "the bible" because 25-33% of the world is Christian. Other religions have their own names for these things. His point is that our conscience is governed by morality, and our perceptions of ourselves can be manipulated by how we frame that which governs our morals.
