The stock exchange was in business during WW2, and according to a recording I recall from being inside the exchange in June 1993, it was badly damaged. Sadly I cannot tell you what exact stocks were sold at that time, since I was never alive then. I was born during the Willy Brandt government when Willy Brandt was federal chancellor.
Oh dear, this February I did not make it to the Börse. But I was very close though. They have done some construction at the Zeilgalerie and there is a new shopping center in that part of Frankfurt am Main. I'll try again February 2010 when I will be there.

I was in a hurry that day, to get to Cologne, so I could not stay for very long. Possibly this February when I go back, I can make a better video.
