I'm from south wales, and the roads are so bad you can't get outside your front door.
this is the worse weather we have had since i was a baby in 1981, I'm disabled and I managed to get out on monday to get food and my medication before the second lot of snow covered wales.
I holiday in Devon around this time of year for the last 10years and we have only had snow twice and NEVER like what they are showing....,
In Canada maybe, in Europe, at least near the coast, winter usually means rain and more rain ;) Almost a month of sub-zero temperatures is pretty uncommon.
when i was young we often had 6 to 8 feet we carried on as normal all wimps now days
