So as a Arcane Mage, if I get infected with Mutated Infection I would blink out of the raid and stay there until the infection is gone? Then I go back in the raid to kill the boss?

@domosplace, well, after five merges the big one goes kablooie and sprays chunks all over the room. it tracks your then position just before the boom, so you need to move. ideal place normal positioning is right under its ass because if the spray-thing hits your face, you can walk under it and continue whacking away.

By doin this boss, you guys did an awesome job. Though you can predict where the slime pools are coming out. Kiting could have been more easier on the healers and dps.

Great video and explanations. For the first few times you do it I'd suggest music with more bpm because it is crazy! After a while you get into the groove though and it's another fight. Thanks for the video

practice on this boss atm, we seem to have some trouble with kiting the adds proberly and run out of room because of the big slime pools. But now i know the OTs can just run through it.. gonna try this.. thx alot ^^

I see as a offtank your kiting though the slime that Putricide dumps into the room, now I know that slows you or does it? And if it does does it slow the ooze as well?

The gigantic areas of slime you see do slow both you and the ooze by 25%. However, it is definitely not a bad thing to go through this because it is mostly unavoidable and the damage is minimal. You just want to watch out for the small pools of slime that the oozes lay on the ground that slow you by an additional 50%.
