before anyone purchases this you must realise that it sounds no greter than a softsynth, i know a number of softys that sound way fuller. If you want a great sounding hardware synth go for ther following:-
versatility - access virus TI Snow pr nord 2x rack
fat analogue - dave smith evolver or dave smith tetra these are the best of the bunch, i have the lot including the blofeld, and i can confirm that the blofeld does more than any of these but the same is at least half as weak.
@cprostudio Thing is that the blofeld is a great synth as the core of a beginners setup. It does good pads, decent bass and good drums & percussion. Shure you can get a virus TI desktop but it costs 2 to 4 times as much as a Blofeld.
The Blofeld is one of the best synths out there to start your setup with. Personally I use a Blofeld and NI Maschine as the core of my live setup.
Wow this sounds good, nice demo of what it can do. I like the sounds and that little repeating riff at the end of one of the synths. I agree, open hi hat sound is very realistic.
