Anyone on the other side can say, "These compounds used recklessly might have a harmful effect on your body." There are a multitude of compounds that, when produced in high amounts is harmful and possibly lethal if produced in large quantities. i.e. Steroids, Adrenals, a high amount of morphogens being unusually produced at the incorrect time. You should not start by saying that we ALL use this drug, then switch to "I have never used this drug" because that would mean that you have never slept, which is not plausible even if it were, you would still be using this drug because if you don't sleep(dream) for a certain amount of time dmt will occur while you are awake therefore you have used dmt before.

I was adverse to taking it because I didn't think there is anything we can take from it that we can't find in ourselves naturally. Hence, it shouldnt matter if DMT is illegal because we don't need. My experience with DMT was great. But Since I gave up smoking and recreational drug use I wasn't overly happy taking it for recreation/experiment/curiousity.

It isn't known whether DMT is produced in the human brain. It very well could be, but at the moment it's merely a theory with no evidence supporting it. Dr. Strassman never pretended that evidence existed to confirm his theory, though. Most people don't care about facts, however, and would rather listen to a moron like Joe Rogan than the much more knowledgeable man who created this theory.

i actually think that the main reason it is illegal is because the government used to use it for research purposes, and they are hiding the truth of the universe from us. the government ran extensive tests on DMT and put it to a stop because they found that it would be too risky to promote something with so much knowledge, etc. so they preferred to keep this knowledge private so that only they can use it as a tool. sounds a bit far fetched, but these accounts are real.
