It is definitely an occupational hazard, but I noticed that when "Feed the lie / Force the reason" is being vocalized, "force" is actually pronounced with an "sh" (as in "shake") rather than with /s/ - then, it just occurred to me that they are Swedish, where /rs/ sequences within a word are always pronounced this way. Discovering this has really cheered me up :)

I can relate to this song. I grew up with a Baptist family and I was expected to believe, having not really been given a choice. I had nagging doubts that took time for me to accept so that I could reevaluate my beliefs objectively. Crawl Through Knives pretty much sums up all of my feelings on this matter. Personally, I interpreted the lyrics as being about self determination in the face of outside influence, whether it be friends, family, or society as a whole.
