She knows at the precise moment she opens it and finds it not the necklace.....he's having an affair!!! Crying in the bedroom.....so so sad because you know she's thinking about what he's been upto and also them as a couple and coming down the stairs putting on a brave face for him and the children....GREAT SCENE!!! xx

This is one of my favorite scenes from this movie. It's absolutely heartbreaking but she's wonderful in it. I bawled my eyes out in the movie theater when I first saw it.
