  • I love ur tutorial, "must have the stylus" (they should hire u for their spokesperson). Anyway, great info, I have to come on more often to learn (busy with the baby). I would recommend any1 to use ur tutorials, they are great.

  • Thanks for the nice tutorial. You have really helped me :o)

  • this is just stupid technology, why dont they just make a big screen that is multi touch with a pen, beacause i just cant get used to doing art in Photoshop and mudbox when i dont see what im drawing where im drawing

  • @15Protech they already did, its called "Wacom Cintiq"...

  • 4:25 >> LMFAO!!! I love this guy! Two thumbs up!!

  • Thanks alot for the tutorial, my pen pressure wouldnt work at first but i found out i had to download a new driver.

  • if i want to animate a model in 3ds max, and make the eyes shine with the background etc, should i make the eyes in 3ds max, and the rest off the model with mudbox, because i want the eyes to shine and reflect the background in max

  • Is this the Wacom Bamboo model or is it a different one?

  • @cloudsurfer007 my guess would be that it's a wacom intuos 3 or 4

  • @cloudsurfer007 wait nvm, the one he's using is way older

  • nice tut, ur voice reminds me of rocky ;)

  • does any1 one else get a buzzing noise frm there gpu or somthing inside when modeling on mudbox or maya? i got a alienware M17x and it buzzes low pitch frequency skretch

  • @PEZ1514 I dont believe that for a second. First of all, Wacom is a japanese product, in japan its called Wakomu. "way' "koh""moo". Its 3 letters in their alphabet. The u is usually silent when pronouncing words that end with a "u" in romanji. Thus all you will hear is the Wa-ko-m-, thus Wacom, not Wacum. There is no "uh" sound in the japanese language. U sounds like "you", O sounds like "oh". So if you want to say it correct, Wakomu with a silent u. "way-com".

  • @Shiftfallout well if u dont believe me call them urself

  • @Shiftfallout I understand where you're coming from with all that, however there is an instructional video on the wacom website about installing your tablet and they pronounce their own company name. "Wah-Com" Just sayin....

  • That all sounds like Stylus commercial not the tutorial, enough to say stylus is good for it once not have all tutorial about it.

  • hi, i have a wacom tablet, but the presure dont control the bush, what settings you have? i must configure something? thanks

  • Hello. Nice. Which one do you have of the wacom??

    Thanks

  • have you ever heard of hotkeys man?that will really make things easier, like smooth: shift+d

  • lol ya i had a huge debate with one of my friends over the pronunciation of wacom

p.s. i was the wrong one i thought it was pronounced the way u did

  • just just just awesome

  • My first Tablet was the Genius Tablet...

The Genius Tablet aren't to bad if you need something affordable tool..

  • I use Zbrush mainly but thought i'd give this a go.

Good tutorial but you didn't explain the mirroring you were using or the 3d space in which you work. Little more detail there would have been great! (will now check the other vids :-)

  • crap...

  • where can i download it

  • muy buen tutorial me pqrece exelente

  • Hi there, excellent tutorial. Those tablets seem like the perfect tool for digital sculpting.

By the way, what screen capture software do you use?

  • Thanks for this. Im using Zbrush, but it's not really clarifying for me. This programs looks allot more clarifying and better.

    :)

  • well all the software have his pros and cons thats all, just try to get the better of both

  • stroking it hehe

  • to be honest i'm not impressed...

  • me too that is liek for doint some things the precision is not liek the mouse becouse you cant have the same presion the hole time

  • and who cares about you ???

  • Very cool: "Can I has mudbox"

  • very nice.

+ you sound exactly like jay from "clerks" by kevin smith

  • im getting into mudbox now, im using a trust tablet, its pretty good.

  • thanks man , much appreciated :)

  • Just wondering. Can you use Mudbox without a Wacom Tablet?

  • yes.

  • i have a tablet and pen does it make it easier to use mudbox and make thing faster?

  • yep... especially for fine sculpt strokes... no need to adjust the sliders as often, saving time...

  • @flashbuilding lol u talk like godfather movie character santinanno...but nice tutorial,thanks

    hey u from new york?

  • i got exact same tablet... good vid...

  • Thanks for the video tutorial Adam, much appreciated. Mudbox 2009 is a pretty interesting piece of software, the gui and 3d polypaint update is much more user-friendly then Zbrush, haven't used super sculpey before, i'm sure it's just as creative as Mudbox though. Just bought a Wacom Intuos3 A4, it's way more intuitive then using the ol' mouse.

  • You are right... it is sweet aint it? The tablet and pen are key for speed and flow in mudbox, I want to continue demonstrating mudbox with stylus pen soon in a part 3.

Super Sculpey is a polymer clay you can bake in your home oven, then paint it.
