The only games I don't like are Pinball (just a boring pinball) and Zero Mission (not a good remake, too changed and that extension after Mother Brain sucks). Good thing they don't interfere in the storyline. I LOVE ALL OTHERS, they have creative plots, cool gameplays and good graphics for the time they're released.

MY FAVOURITE IS METROID 2 because it's completely new and different from the 1st, and told more about the metroids than any other. Metroid Queen is the coolest enemy ever!

Joel4god has the right timeline. In Metroid II, Samus eradicates the remaining Metroids in the universe (save for the baby one), and the Prime series still has Metroids on other planets, so they have to be before Metroid II.

ive played metroid 2 and beat it ( with a map) so i know she kills all the metroids, but she only kills all the ones on their homeworld of sr388. at the end of the first metroid it says the galaxy may be invaded by "other metroid" hence their could be others in the universe,other that the ones on sr388. but i just figured out another reasone why joel4god has to be right, in the begining of super metroid samus delivered the baby metroid then passing the asteroid belt and she got a distress signal

I'm only giving tribute to the Metroids 1-4. I never played the GC Prime games, hunter or pinball. Zero Mission is a remake of Metroid 1 so I used the original Metroid instead.

@Artificialraven You should really give the Prime games a go... they are actually very good. They are of course very different from the 2D versions..... but Zelda and Mario were thae same way and most people remember them for the 3D ones now. I would suggest getting the Trilogy game for the Wii since it has all three primes in one.... but... this is just my opinion....

Without a doubt an epic series. It's practically an institution in exploration and action games, much like Zelda. I love all the metroid games, they provide hours of exploration, tricky tactics, challenging boss fights, and riveting gameplay that keeps you glued to your controller. It's so nice that you took the time to do a tribute to a grand series. :3 You're awesome, like you haven't heard that enough.
