  • b e a u t i f u l ! ! !

  • Wow, I have a 75G reef tank too but dont have that much stock. What is the size of the sump?

  • @chris2586 Its a Eurofil-125, just enough room for the 8" sock, 250w ebo heater, mag 9.5, float switches, ph/temp probes and the SWC180 skimmer.

  • Thats Foxface fish is Definatly not reef safe! I would watch it closely. I had one in my 75 gallon reef and it ate almost all my soft corals

  • @livexgreen Every reference source, both online and in all the books I have, lists Siganus Vulpinus "foxface Rabbitfish" as reef safe. Most list this fish as a 4 of 5 on the reef compatibility chart. Any fish will nip if not properly feed.

  • @livexgreen Foxface is reef safe.

  • How did the Angels and Tangs get along with eachother? Nice tank btw.

  • @mitch5655 they get along fine, but I only keep one of each body type unless they are in a bigger tank.

  • hey nice set up I'm in the process of build a 72 bow front reef tank can U pls provide the list of fishes you have?

how many pounds of sand ?

    how many pounds of rock?

    do u have a chiller?

    under metal halide lights?

thanks in advance for the response once again nice tank congrat keep up the good work !!!!

  • alot of the info you asked for are in the replys below. Heres a quick fish list from the tank then, I traded a few. Flame angel, coral beauty, 5-6 chromis, purple tang (rescued), 6 line wrasse, blue hippo tang, 2 (paired) clowns, fox face, royal gramma. The lights then where Power Compacts and yes theres a 1/6 chiller. Ive upgraded the lights now to T5 as im changing the tank over to a mixed reef for more SPS. Theres about 130+ lbs of rock and about 100lbs of sand. Hope that helps.

  • Can you recommend a quality skimmer for a 75 gallon with light to medium load? Its hard to find a good match for that size aquarium, the best skimmers seem rated for 150 gallons and up. Thanks.

  • I had the same question...really all the 75g skimmers I have found where not enough for what i wanted. I started with a seaclone 100 which was ok, but always in need of adjustment. After that I got an ASM g1x. The g1 series has perfect cost/performance and I didnt need anything more and has given me the ability to have a higher bio load. You can also look at an ASM MINI G. With skimmers the skys the limit.

  • whats the song called i love this song but i can never find the name

  • The intro song is Violin Concerto, No. 3: "Strassburg" K. 216, 3rd Movement by Jane Murphy/Richard Tognetti the secound piece is Prelude (From the Unaccompanied Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007) and the third is Into the Fog by Christopher Mansell

  • Hey...really nice set-up...nice to see a tank that's not bubbling over with 1000's of fish....also like the choice in music!

  • my dad would like to know what are you using for water flow

  • water motion is created by 4 Maxi-jets 1200's on a Wavemaster Pro and a Penguin 1440 for constant flow pointing toward the top for more surface flow. The returns (2) are off a mag 900. One side is throttled down cuz it goes threw a uv sterilizer then a 1/6 chiller.

  • Added two Koralia 3's w/mod to help eliminate the start up clatter from starting and stopping while on the wavemaster Pro. Chiller changed out for an Oceanic 1/6 hp model. Its, amazing. Lighting has been upgraded to 6x54w T5 Nova Extreme Pro, so I can start doing SPS.

  • hi guys me and my dad are buildding a 75 gallon reef tank and are wondering what tangs and triggers would fit this size tank. most people are telling us to get a sailfin or bluethrought

  • Blue, colbies, purple, yellows, they are all fine. In my video you can see my blue and a purple which is a rescue from another tank. I like to get em small as juveniles and watch em grow, but they have a better chance in the mideum+ size range. On a side note one have one of the same body type. for example one surgeon, and on yellow or purple. Not a yellow and a purple cuz in a 75 they will fight. Good luck

  • thank you look forward for my video of my own tank so thank you

  • wow i have 80 pounds and this blows it out of the water oh yeah nice job

  • Everything appears to be mature and thriving. That rock structure is fantastic. How did you make it?

  • its just stacked live rock, over 100lbs. of it =) thx

  • one day i will have a aquarium like that

  • Ef-ing gorgeous

  • Awesome tank! That looks bigger then 75 gallons. What are you using for lighting and water motion?

  • Lights are PC, and the water motion is created by 4 Maxi-jets 1200's on a Wavemaster Pro and a Penguin 1440 on constant flow pointing toward the top for more surface flow. The returns (2) are off a mag 900. One side is throttled down cuz it goes threw a uv sterilizer then a 1/6 chiller.

  • is that supposed to make sense?

  • lol.. does to me..

  • very cool tank!

  • thanks!

  • Awesome aquarium man!
