Mitchell needs more experience. Their bench needs more veterans. on a chapionship calibur teams, their starters would probably be benchers or 3rd string( Look at Rasho, Garbajosa, and calderon). An injury of Bosh would ruin the team, just like memphis. Who else would step up? Dixon? Ford? They are not deep enough. Lawance Frank has been in the playoffs. Despite my distaste for VC, he is a leader and veteran. Same as Kidd. Thats why i see Nets chances geting the ring before the Raps.
I'd prefer stability for a coach. He has no "nitch" for a coach (like mike brown of cavs). Coaches preach certain styles, like Papavich or Sloan's half court,defensive mindedset or mike dantoni's run& gun suns. Weird thing about Mitchell & Colangelo is he prepared a fast paced team for a team centered aroudn their lowpost, half court playing franchise player, Chris Bosh. Mitchell needs more experience. Their bench needs more veterans. on a chapionship calibur teams, their starters would probably be benchers or 3rd string( Look at Rasho, Garbajosa, and calderon). An injury of Bosh would ruin the team, just like memphis. Who else would step up? Dixon? Ford? They are not deep enough. Lawance Frank has been in the playoffs. Despite my distaste for VC, he is a leader and veteran. Same as Kidd. Thats why i see Nets chances geting the ring before the Raps.

I'd prefer stability for a coach. He has no "nitch" for a coach (like mike brown of cavs). Coaches preach certain styles, like Papavich or Sloan's half court,defensive mindedset or mike dantoni's run& gun suns. Weird thing about Mitchell & Colangelo is he prepared a fast paced team for a team centered aroudn their lowpost, half court playing franchise player, Chris Bosh. Their 2nd best plyaer, TJ Ford works best in the fast break, and plays very uptempo basketball. They just dont go together.

Look at Bosh's experience compared to VC. its like 3 years Vrs +10. Look at Bosh's cast versus Nets. Kidd, Jefferson, VC, and a healthy Kristic (with a better coach too, sam mitchell sucks). 2 years ago, bosh was a inexperienced sophmore. his best player than was probably rookie Charlie vanueilia. It'll be funny when the Raptors (currently 4th seed) make the playoffs, when the Nets are struggling w/ Kidd and VC. theyre currently 9th or 10 seat.

The way the NBA is played today (more fast pace), you could use about 50% of the gaurds and make em play the foward position. Vise versa(look at shawn Marion, JHoward,etc. They even used Lebron as a PG at one point during the season.) Thats like me saying, "Hey, lets put shaq in as a foward to see if he can own bosh in voting.) bosh is arguable the all around best big man next to garnett, his 3s aint decent yet, but still good all around.
VC still is insane though, very clutch (check game winner against wizards (3 pointer 5 feet away from the 3 point line)). Like all shooters, his shot can be Very off sometimes.
That being said, VC is def the better player, but i'd rather have a team player like bosh. Nets as of now arn't even in the playoffs. Raptors are.

Allstar voting is very misleading. Even when AI left to the west coast (thus transfering all his votes to the west), VC still have to get picked in by the coaches. AI and Wade were leading over Vince and areanas in voting, and even when AI left, VC still didn't have enough votes to get picked in a weak eastern conference.
