  • Looks great. The diorama too. Ho scale is 1/87 but most buildings and so are actually made in 1/100.

  • Cool find from GreenMax! The Tripod is looking great, you're in the home stretch now!

  • Bro whats with the A-wing fighter in the back ground?

  • @oxfd611 That is a "can of worms". Got bored last week and decided to try sanding and scribing all the panel lines. I started crying after a few panels.

  • @ThePaintingClinic Really? Sorry to hear that, those curves can really throw sometimes...

  • great work. i need to watch pt 1-4 now. impressed.

  • Thank you for not attaching the cages! (I thought the cages were a pretty sucky idea. Much like the entire second half of the film. Tee hee.)

Your work is looking great. Really looking forward to your diorama/base.

(Another idea for the base, if the farmhouse is difficult to come by: you could do part of the bridge scene. Girders, and tarmac, and maybe a bit of water.)

  • Sweet progress, Tony!

  • I can't wait to see this a finished piece. But you're right go with you're gut feeling if you don't feel it ;)

  • Looking really good! Makes me want one of these kits! I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the base.

  • cool vid man, Question: where do you buy your paints from and are you going to SCAHMS show? I am, and hopefully my wife. I would love to meet you and thank you for the inspiration. Can wait to see how the base turns out.

  • I meant to say can't, lol.

  • @coladito1 Brookhurst Hobbies and yes.

  • @ThePaintingClinic Glad you will at SCAHMS ths year, hope to meet you and see this.

  • So awsome, cant waqit to see final result!

  • Im mainly a modelrailroader, here are the scale measurements N scale- 1:164, HO scale- 1:87, O scale -1:48, S scale- 1:64, G scale- 1:29

  • If you do not have a plan for the "Red Plant" you could you use "water affects" it is a white gel that clears it is very easy to bend and twist when it has dried. You could put some red die in it to make it red. Search it on Youtube to get a better idea of what it is. Great Video can't wait to see the end resualt!

  • @NscaleAmtrak I was thinking wire or string dipped in something like white glue to thicken it, but I will check that stuff out. Thanks.

  • @ThePaintingClinic I just posted a video showing my tripod base, and I got some old floss and painted them red. It looks so awsome and authentic.

  • HO = 1:87

I really love the build btw, you have and exellent eye for detail so I think the base will be excellent aswell. I also like that you show misstakes aswell as what turns out as you wanted it to. Keep it up!

  • @granander Hmmm. For some reason I was thinking HO was smaller. Looks like I will need a "small" house. Thanks

  • @ThePaintingClinic I am thinking that TT-Scale (1:120), looked at some landscapes and it seems to fit both the base and the model pretty good.

  • Z are N scale building would work for your base

  • Excellent video.

    Looking forward to the base
