i wonder if man will be ever possible to see the surface of jupiter (from long or close distance). I also wonder what are those sounds recorded by voyager!! Our universe is not only full of sounds (though in EMF form) it is also very mysterious
4th - Jupiter contains: 35-50% gases and 50-65% metal core. Gas transforms to metal when it's near to center of the planet. As you know, metal is very heavy - that's why Jupiter's gravity is too high (8 or 10 times higher, than Earth, don't remember for sure). Also, there is strong radiation around the planet, today human can't even survive in the journey to Jupiter, sun radiation, long time, mistakes, and so on. So... just forget to see it with your own eyes for next 500 years.
1st - Didn't like video, just stupid 3D animations.
2nd - NOBODY in the whole world knows what's Jupiter's surface looks like. And the only ONE real image (.gif) of planet rotating in the Internet exist, you can find it in wiki or here, in youtube:
/watch?v=qOzfQ2fDuDg&feature=fvw
3rd - At nasa webpage you can see real pictures and videos of Mars surface. Mars is not such big deal anymore ...
well that to but nothing auman made can land on jupiter because the gravity is 1000x earth gravity and there is a surface of jupiter (i think) because a few millions yrs ago a few comets bigger then erath hit jupiter and that is those creatore u c
Jupiter attracted all of those gasses to itself with its gravity, so there must be a solid surface, but the only solid surface is probably the core of the planet.
the core of the planet is about 1 % of its total mass, if there is a solid core the landing on that surface will be impossible to humans due to the extremes pressures.
Actually, Jupiters gravity is only slightly higher than Earths. If you were flying on an aircraft of some sort high in Jupiters atmosphere, you would likely not feel any difference. It's the pressure that would make it impossible to be on the surface (which is immersed in a sea of metallic-state hydrogen). Also, who told you that a few comets "larger than the earth" (??!?!!) hit Jupiter?! You're just plain wrong there, I'm afraid. However, in 1994, Shoemaker-Levy 9 hit Jupiter. Perhaps that was

Meant to say Jupiter. It is a gas giant.
