only reason i don't like her as much as I probably should is because I can't picture roger really liking her like he's supposed to... That's just me though, I'm probably biased because I want roger for myself LMAO.

She can't be your fav Mimi, because, there's no other Mimi. she IS Mimi... the others are inspired by her version of the character... Renee is great, Rosario was great on screen tho she wouldnt be able to perform at a broadway production. Tamyra is just a good singer...but it's not just about the voice, its a complex role and you have to do all the three things, but she cant act, sorry... Daphne rules!

@M4Hahaha Actually the Original Mimi, Is the one Johnathon penned on paper. There are HUNDREDS of Mimi's all Inspired by the Original. Daphne is just the first to come to life, but if it was any of the other wonderful Mimi's who got there first, yould be saying the same thing about them I'm sure. Its a total psychological thing, since she was the first no one can stand up to her. But I feel there are quite a few better then Daphne.

Daphne was sex on legs. So powerful and raw and energetic. No point comparing her to Renee, Rosario, etc., because there IS no comparison. They are all awesome, just for getting up there. Can you imagine the courage that it must take to perform this song? Jonathan wrote it for a hardcore bitch and most of the Mimis that I have seen did not disappoint :)

Daphne is interesting, and I don't mind her raspy voice, but she never was much of an actress. usually I love the Broadway performers so much more than the movie versions, but I like Rosario about as much as Daphne. That said, I don't think Rosario would be able to perform the role on B/way.

@Angelofmusicerik FYI the original Mimi was going to be Marcy Harriell, but she was under contract with the West Side Story tour. Unfortunately, there is no video on YouTube of her as Mimi, but I far prefer her to Daphne.
