@TheOnlyRoxtar Listen outside of the realm of fighting, there was no medical advice given outside of the actual MOA of the pharmacuetical. like any drug on the market you are going to have side effects, but also with any drug its risk versus reward. You're right, in long term prevention vaccination is the best way to reduce your ability to catch the flu, but once its caught your treatment options are limited to antivirals (not naming any specifics).

@TheOnlyRoxtar This is even recommended by the CDC and the WHO which have no corporate affiliation. Regardless of a whos right or wrong, it is a medication, in most cases it helps patients get better, in life threatening situations antivirals are the first thing administered. I'm not saying go out and stock pile, but don't be limited in options when consulting your physician, who ultimately will make the recomendation. I respect your opinion TheOnlyRoxtar, however i have done my homework.

although you may experience side effects, it does actually fight the flu when you are sick unlike what chiropractic47 says- if you understand the MOA, it is a neurominidase inhibitor which basically means it blocks the receptors on the virus and restricts it from spreading and multiplying. if it isn't spreading or multiplying then you are winning that battle.

also, if you go to the chiropractor when you have the flu you are an idiot

Dont take Tamiflu or nething else for the flu except to fight side effects like tylenol advil ect. What did they do to fight flus back in the day?

Stay in bed rest get plenty of liquids thats it your body can fight 99.9% of all flues and virus its only when you take crap to "kill" the virus do you see massive traumas.

All flues are deadly in about at most 1% of the worlds population and that a high est.

Tamiflu doesn't fight the flu if you have the flu. It's meant as a deterrent to the flu. It not only doesn't work, worse...it's dangerous.

I asked if there were any side effects and 3 times i was told No!Swine flu hotline Twice,Tamiflu collection center pharmacist again,NHS reports today 50% of children have side effects,Nausea,nightmares and insomnia.

My son is getting better and may just have a cold,who know's?

People like this make me sick. Why panic over a flu that has killed barely any people compared to the normal flu? How can anyone give this to their children? People need to research the medication before buying it. Children have actually commited suicide in Japan after taking Tamiflu. This was all just an experiment, and it seems to be working so you will take Tamiflu.
