This is the version from PULSE which was the live concert in 1995 at Earls Court to promote their last album Division Bell. The last time the 3rd solo was played live was 1977. The 2006 On An Island tour version of Shine On amalgamated the 2nd and 3rd solos into a new bluesy solo followed by a scaled down vocal and clean guitar only for verses with the band coming in for the 2nd chorus ("wore out your welcome...")

You need to get you Strat outfitted with the EMG-DG20 pickup set that David used throughout the 80's and 90's. Those pickups help bring this song to life!!!! Great playing though!

Really well played mate! On those long-held bends and notes during the start bit, try a tiny bit ov the old vibrato arm (whammy bar) just to add some depth.
