  • I've been a storm chaser for two decades. I'm certainly no expert, but I know enough to know that not all tornadic vortexes look like the wizard of Oz one. You might have an actual funnel / tornado here. At first I was sure it was "virga", which is rain coming down that evaporates before it hits the ground. Virga very often can look tornadic. But there is a feature here called a rear flank downdraft that is thought to enhance tornadic formation, your vic shows that. Maybe it is the real deal?

  • might have been a strong down draft lol

  • Cames dude...you suck!!!

  • @solidous1 dude this was like 4 yrs ago. you suck, at being prompt, Go post on something else or just go suck, lol I post an L on my forehead for u..

  • In 2008 i was about to go down I95 and there was a tornado forming and it turned over tree and they were in the road and it turned over a 18 wheeler but the man lived i got a picture of it and the tornado. It scared me so bad i was whiter than cotton and it almost hit us. Just be glad yall weren't hit :)

  • @Nicholy1000

Well I was at work directly under the (non tornado) as some of these U-Tube experts on here have posted. I called my wife to tell her and she went out to see. and filmed this.. Maybe it was just straight line winds from a t-storm. But it tore off a whole bunch of tree limbs and some gutters from the roof at work. Sounded like train and pressure dropped very rapidly. Almost got caught in it as I was going to break,,

  • that no damm t-r-nd-

  • I was driving on Raeford road on my way to my realtors office that day...it got pitch black dark and I could barely open my car door to get out of the car and I could barely open his office door. I told my realtor that I thought that a tornado was outside and we looked out of his office window and saw a well defined funnel cloud as plain as day. That was a tornado!

  • I doubt that's a tornado. I spent the last 8.5 years living in Fayettehell and never once saw one, although they say one did briefly hit the Cameron are on '04.

  • I was in Fayetteville, NC this time last year and I don't remember any tornado. Wow. I moved out here permanently in Feb. 2008 and nothing so far, but severe thunderstorms. Its annoying.

  • i agree they come here like crazy

  • i live in fayetteville i have NOT seen no tornado (btw ive been here for 8 years)

  • lol ur funny

  • I agree that this was probably not a twister, The wall cloud my wife filmed was right in the direction of where I work. When I went outside there was some serious winds whipping around. It tore up some tree branches and some gutters went flying off the building. Minimal damage, but I could feel the pressure changing and it was seriously loud. Just strong downbursts. But it still got mu heart pumping.. Please ignore my adolescent son during this clip. LOL. He will grow up one day..

  • OMG I was in my car when that was happening I think there were like 3 tornadoes that day OMG i was creeped out by the tornado warning because we were on the high way 5 miles from home and our destination was 8 miles away

  • I live in NC, and there was no reports of a tornado that day.

    lol.

  • NOT A TORNADO

  • I agree with the previous poster. This is NOT a tornado. Heavy sheets of rain can sometimes appear to look like a tornado. This is one of those times.

  • That's just a thick layer of rain!

  • LOL!!! I agree. That is rain. It is not a tornado.
