  • Lol at the d-line playing in uniform with covers on >.>

  • incubus- follow. halo 2 made this BAD ASS!!!

  • The tenor line needs to learn some freaking discipline and not have 16 inch heights for every freaking hit. Maybe it was the director or leaders idea to have them bobbing like idiots, but it just looks bad..especially with a stationary cymbal rack. Would have looked far more awesome staying stationary and letting your chops do the talking instead of bouncing around like an idiot. Props to the bass line for epic runs though.

  • Songs: Halo 2 Main and Follow Movement 1

  • thats the effect of the Halo Theme

  • Nice Rendition of Follow. Looks like you had fun ^.^

  • sounds like an epic mariatchi band playin halo but pretty good.

  • wtf...

  • And i thought my school was the only one with a crazy Drumline... lol

  • Timpani player needs to grow a pair

  • i guess this was ok it didnt really make me go wow but im proble just overlooking this because the band im in has a amazing drum line (i play snare) but you know this was really good i guess

  • hey ppl keep in mind that this whole performance got a superior rating. just sayin...

  • @coldmaxmax

Uh, dude, this music IS in halo. During your first level as the Arbiter, you need to get in a Banshee to chase the heretic leader. This music plays there. It's all on guitar, though.

  • That drum major blows.

  • It was cool in the beginning, but it was the same thing for the whole video.

  • wow that was terrible. at least they look like they are having fun haha.

  • I never understood drum lines... It's all just looks, it's just collective music sounds :/

  • damn

  • This song = Follow - Incubus (3rd movement of the odessey) on Halo 2 OST... sounds alot better than the halo theme. It's hard to do a theme like that which so many people know the notes of by heart-

  • where is master chief?? lol

  • maryland marchings better

  • yea im just gonna act like I ACCIDENTLY watched this. I dont normaly rip on other musicians unless its capital regiment, but that was bad. Teach the trumpets how to double tounge plz lolz

  • Teaxas has THE BEAST bands in the world no other state can top us if you make all state in such a big state you kick ass

  • i just wish they didn't waste space in a marching band..on woodwinds...

  • we do do better visuals us texans kisck ass on that but GO DRUMLINE

  • this is called follow off the halo 2 soundtrack....the performance as a whole is really good

  • tru dat

  • what a complete train wreck... horrible.... bad arrangement, bad performance, bad quality of sound... this is horrid

  • Although I somewhat agree with you, It look like they were having fun so in an ensemble that isn't exactly world class to begin with I think thats all that matters :) plus one of those bass drummers looks like he's having the time of his life haha

  • halo is so overdone for marching bands.

in our last competition, two schools decided to do halo. lame.

  • They should do FFVII One Winged Angel

  • they didnt sound like halo the viedo game but good job

  • i like that peice what is the name of it

  • Halo 2 Follow (1st Movement of The Odyssey)

  • Ive seen a Texas band do better at halo then this but this one had pretty cool visuals

  • that was good

  • Honestly...that was REALLY boring, and its partially the lines fault, as well as the drill designer. That was at least a 24 bar break, yet no entertaining visuals...

  • I agree. And it only showed bass drums. Where Are the Tenors? The Snares!?

  • Check out the whole performance under eagleprideband. This was just a close-up of part of the drumline.

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lord i like dat beat yo,

  • umm.. i dont see anything crazy... except for the crazily out-of-control terrible sounding first trumpet.. maybe its a loud second.. idk. either way.. nothing exciting about this 'line.. anyone can hit drums in unison.. i wanna hear some runs.. seriously, theyre standing still and the best the basses have is like a 2 second run =/

  • Actually it is follow by Incubus

  • its follow from breaking benjamin. beastly

  • yes it is halo2 when your in the banshee on the level the heritic it plays that exept its drums and guitar noobs know your stuff!

  • I don't get it... What about this shows any kind of "going crazy"?

  • halo 2 im guessing is the crazy part

  • Eh, it was kind of cool, I would have rather seen the line actually do some precision marching stuff instead of just standing there and not doing much of anything, standing calls for some sort of visuals, no?

  • bit out of time at the start

  • Yeah, this is on the Halo 2 soundtrack. However the song was actually made by Incubus and its named "Follow".

  • yea, thats not halo 2

  • Comment removed

  • I agree

  • yea it is its the one when you first play as the arbiter when your shooting down the enemy banshess and escoerting the fantom

  • ya it is. the song is in the part were u kill the heretic (just played halo 2 rite now xD)

  • There's a high school named after Sandra Day O'Connor? Already? LOL

  • I've wanted to play this song in marching band forever. I'm jealous.

  • Wow...its weird because the song seems to go well with band instruments like that

  • I'm not gonna lie. The drumline of this band is beastin that lick they have, but it doesn't really fit with Halo 2. That's just my opinion though.

  • Yes, it does. It's from the Incubus song used in the first Arbiter level.

  • yay kimbie and me except i think im going crazier than everyone else lol

  • as much as this song totally didn't fit with the rest of Halo 2's music it sounds like a really fun tune to do as a marching band song.

  • they sound a bit off .

  • the band and drumlime is awesome!

i think it takes away from the professionalism when they do not stand at attention though...

  • Hell yeah!!! Go drumline!!! Best drumline in all my years of marching band.

  • Agreed. Especially that kid logan on snare. He was soooo cool and hot and good!
