In 1987 a best friend gave me a tape with this song , and I listened to this song a lot for the next 2 years;unfortunately ,for some dumb reasons I lost the tape, and I always blame myself every time when I think about this song. Thank Goodness ! now I got it back, it's one of life saver medicine for my life , I wish could express more feeling about this song. "El Condor Pasa" originates from the andes of Peru, the music was created by a peruvian composer and ethnomusicologist Daniel Alomia Robles in 1913, who traveled throught the Andes in Peru collecting and writing folk music. Alomía Robles said that he had a good ear and could reproduce any sound that he heard and that he took special pleasure as a child in singing the indigenous songs of Peru.
