I stop watching this show after the brother and sister "moved away", only later to discover that they retooled the show into slapstick comedy and was pretty funny.

I only remember a few things about this show:

There was an episode where the blondie was on steroids. Another where the guy couldn't quit smoking cigs. The name of their favorite place was Sharky's...and this song intro!

I used to think heidi had a better voice than jennie but after watching the reunion  on the Jimmy fallon show I think Jennie had better range.

@alexsummers1 Jennie's been in practice a lot more than Heidi has since the show. Jennie's been on broadway whereas Heidi's been busy having babies and making movies. I think if she would have kept her voice in practice, she would have sounded better than she did on Jimmy Fallon. It's sad because Heidi does (or did) have a great voice.

So on Season 2 thats when they added Jake,and Matt and Jenny left on Season 2 or right after because I think Lorena and Mark were added from Season 3 and on.

For half of her last episode lol. Looking back I think they could've made a good couple. Check out Must be Love (Matt's version), there's some good chemistry between J & J there!! (He wrote the song for her and keeps glancing across and she slowly realizes, it's a nice scene)

I liked Heidi's voice over Jennie Kwans. Jennie's wasn't bad, Heidi just had the stronger voice 2 me. Especially in the opening theme. GOSH I MISS MY CHILDHOOD

I agree 100% with you. Heidi DID have the better voice, but Jennie was a better fit than Heidi in the comedic acting aspect of it though.

I think Jenny was more subtle as a character. I used to think Mark and Lorena were more cartoonish versions of Matt and Jenny.

Why did Heidi Lenhart leave the show? Does anybody know? She was great. i liked her in Au Pair (1999) and the sequal. (The 3rd comes out in March on ABC Family).

@bubufubu They would have, but Heidi wanted to pursue a professional career in singing. She did, briefly, but wasn't met with too much success. I think she would have had better success staying on the show. I can't remember why the actor who played Matt left. lol, I was really young when this show was on, but it's all my older sisters wanted to watch! oh the memories.
