Just a heads up here: His name is spelled 02 with a subscript 2. He isn't called "Zero-squared", but rather just "zero-two", since he is the second form of Zero.

Most devout Kirby fans have already played KRTD and have been somewhat dissapointed by the lack of Zero Three. Still one of the best Kirby games in my opinion, but would've been awesome fight Zero Three with my brother and my cousins. Or anyone else's case, their friends.

I've heard some fans believe that Galactica Knight is some manner of Zero reincarnated. This doesn't make sense, considering that Galactica Knight existed long before Zero. I can see why people might think that, however.

If anything, I think the only way to properly bring Zero back, is by bringing back one of his remnant Dark Matter spores, like from Dream Land 2. Perhaps this child of Zero would have an opportunity for redemption.

I feel like the whole thing with Kirby games were like this:

If you are a kid, you just go through things by seeing the bare minimum (Just go through the game without collecting the shards). Like when we are taught history in high school, you only hear this and that happened. But when you get older, you might question something, so you go deeper into looking for the truth (Hence actually collecting all the shards), thus you find it is much different than you expected.

Zero 2 is a reborn version of Zero, hence the number 2. Kirby killed him in Dreamland 3 by going through his Dark Matter form, revealing Zero and finally destroying core, the bloody eye. When he destroys the core, it bursts out of the white body, the bandaid in Zero 2 is to patch up the wound. The tail is to show he's dead already, a ghost tail to be precise. Learn your facts before you speak.

He's just like Hamlet, think about it. 02 is 0's mourning son whose father's ghost revealed to him, and Kirby is his usurper. Zero's so symbolic and allusive, the creepy smile at the beginning of the fight is his failed decoy of cluelessness. Zero two is just disillusioned to Kirby's villainy!

Kirby isn't exactly the kids game people claim it to be. It's just usually 2D and the violence is kept minimally seen. 02 was just the full extent of HAL's 64 powers, and they were showing it. It is my opinion that if a third Zero was made in any game, it should be called Zero vestige, not Zero3, for the reason that Zero2 was already a remnant (in the form of a bloody ghost-angel) of the original Zero, from that Japanese Kirby game which the name of escapes me.. but anyway, a third version would be a remnant of a remnant, a vestige, because Zero2 was already a ghost clinging only to the bloodof his old body.
