  • Yes - the spine is key. It's also all about flow and other aspects of well-being. My life took quantum leaps of improvement when I started doing Kundalini yoga. Way better than any special diet or any herbs.

  • This guy is brilliant!

  • I have that book too. Comes with a CD to use in the pc. Very interesting & informative.

  • You are fantastic. I love seeing you. Your care for people and desire to share good information is so beautiful. Thank you for all your videos. I just watched the one about sleep and taking ZMA and Ho Shu Wu. Again, you are great. Thank you.

  • Well done, @herbgardner00! Your video was not only educational and informative, but your casually eloquent discourse made the topic irrefutably sensical and engaging. LOVED it and I now look forward to your future posts. Keep 'em coming!

  • Great video as usual! But, I agree w/ @ClapYOHaNds- the heart is SUPER important... look into the book: Heart's Code-I think you will enjoy it. (love your hair at this length/style~ btw!)

  • 1:14 I NOTICED A HEART!

  • Great video, thumbs up and favourited. Thanks mate!

  • While the spine is very important, we must not forget about the heart. Scientist have discovered that the heart does much more than just pump blood, it influences our emotions, perspectives and etc.

  • V=P-O! :D

  • spine? JING.

  • Thank you herbgardner, this video has changed my life while transforming the knowledge I had about health

  • Thank you herbgardner, this video has changed my life while transforming the knowledge I had about health

  • i'm listening to Back softly in the background, absorbing positive subliminal affirmations and images into my subconscious, bouncing on an excercise ball, all while watching this video...i'd say thats a pretty healthy combination ;)

  • @lightbrownpoop Bach*!

  • you're the best!

  • This video is really great! This is exactly the kind of information people need to heal themselves! Thank you...

  • Mic check one two

  • @DonkeyDelight I can't type either, apparently.

  • You're actually an incredibly talented speaker, I can't imagine speaking speaking for several minutes and actually keep it interesting.

  • @herbgardner00 hi Brandon, great video thanks mate. Is that book called "The Human Body Book by Steve Parker"? I want one!

  • @bigamejames1 yes indeed

  • what book is that? :)

  • @nobadtrips the human body

  • Nucca chiropractic is great for the spine. I have been going to a Nucca Dr. for about three months now and the results have been great. That coupled with a healthy diet and exercise has really improved my heath. Good video.

  • I love your videoes!

  • A practical western way to a healthy spine is an inversion machine, beware as you begin as your body has to adjust to the increased blood flow and pressures, warm up on a rebounder first. A few minutes upside down and a green juice every day can change your health, life and the way you walk immensely. I have done this for over 25 years. cheers.

  • @themook1000 yes yes, inversion tables are great!

  • @themook1000 What kind of green juice do you drink?

  • Excellent video man, many thanks!

  • the tree of life. would also be interesting if you would explore kundalini, for that is very connected with the backbone isn't it?

  • so simple, yet so brilliant, and true!!

  • great vid..i'd learned something. keep up the great work brandon!

  • @Creatiopoetic thanks :)

  • A certified kettlebell instructor can be extremely helpful for posture correction.

I was challenged with moderate to severe back pain after a torn trapezius for a decade.WHen I started with the chiro a couple of years ago i had extensive wear on part of my spine. The first few adjustments actually gave me a "runners high". Inversion tables are awesome as well.

  • @CharlesTRose yes that is true as well. from what i've seen thats a pretty intelligent system for development the body.

  • Very nice summary and good explanation. Love the hose analogy. More important than ever in our age of "computerback". Smart to observe what are the most common problems in aging and use that knowledge to prioritize our health practices. Standing like a tree meditation is a simple yet powerful exercise anyone can do for keeping the spine energy circulating, and Taoist sexual qigong exercises you can read more about a few masters on these two subjects, Master Lam Kam Chuen and Mantak Chia. -Holly

  • THANK YOU 4 TRUTH!! you've convinced my unbiased yet skeptical mind very quickly! this is skill; congratulations! and I must say as time flows ! seem to frolic more than I used to slump around. I believe this to be a natural release of my spinal potential for embodiment of physical well being. I have scoliosis and horrible posture but as I grow so does my ability to stand tall in well-being and now I understand this progression to also be enhancing my bodily functions! I understand thanks to you

  • im so cool

  • @HoFoShAo sweet

  • cool shirt

  • @Brandonian3030 thanks, its one of my faves.

  • In my opinion, this is one of your best videos. It works as a nice summary of the foundations of all health. Thanks again Mr. Gilbert

  • @pathsounds thanks! share it around :)

  • @herbgardner00 already done so :)

  • @pathsounds sweet. thanks!

  • Anyone got any other tips for making the spine more flexible?

  • Very insightful, Thanks.

  • @breadxdesigns thanks for watching, please share it if you like it :)

  • What is the book called?

  • @Obito313 the human body

  • @herbgardner00 by whom?

  • @Obito313 steve parker, look it up on amazon, youll see it =]

  • Right on, Brandon. Unfortunately, it seems like the spine is also one of the most difficult parts of our bodies to correct when it's already at a certain point. I wish I was aware of this before all of my growth spurts.

  • @SwissShredder bodywork and re-training movement can def help w this :)
