  • Really cute!

  • This is very creative :)

My suggestion is that you use fabric glue, hot glue, or sewing to hold it in place.

  • could we use fabric glue instead?

  • very creative :D

  • so lovely :3 uhm what is the name of the first song?

  • it looks like a napkin hahahahahha

  • Does the tape actually hold good? I've used tape on fabrics before and stuff falls off. Are you using like super duty tape or something special???

  • so come on people!!

    anyways sorry for the rant...^^

    really like the vid

  • i think it was cute, and i do find it a little rude as to how soem people are treating your head dress. for one, it IS lolita. better lolita=better quality true, but i am sure as lond as people arent staring at it for an hour that they could tell it was taped(unless it fell apart). i happen to own a milanoo dress(dont judge, i was a really new loli then) and as long as i hide the errors no one can tell. it is actually my favorite dress. and even though the quality isnt the best it is still loli

  • This isn't lolita.

  • wut was the 2nd song? please tell me. XD

  • I love it. :D Instead of taping, I'll try to sew it x3 Thanks for the idea! This was like my last minute thing to find and this would really help me out on my halloween costume as a gothic lolita. <3

  • I wanted to ask you were you got the ribbons, etc.. But I live in the Netherlands, haha

  • This music is from a drama *-* Thx for the video :)

  • where do you get your fabric?

  • such rude comments really make me angry òó shame on you!

this is so helpful! i dont have much money myself and i'm not good at sewing either but in the end it looks so lovely

  • @wollkatze I agree. It turned out more lovely than I imagined. It's maybe not best for real lolita, but it is cute.

  • wow this is awesome for you just to use tape O.O i think it looks amazing even if you didn't sew it :D

  • OMG!!!! What was the second song! Totally loved it!!!!

  • i dont know why people are hating -_- theres no problem with tape if you cant afford certian materials. im DEFINATLEY using this for my up and coming lolita dress. thank you for the tutorial :)

  • how did you get the lce with the ribbon in the middle? did you make it? and if you did, how? o.o

  • @NoonJoon I just bought the type of ribbon with the slits in it and stringed through some smaller ribbon through it.

  • the sedcond song is from akorean yuri drama <3

    its soo cute ;3

  • @darkgabeh *second

  • loved the S.H.E. song at the end :D

  • I LOVE that you use tape. Those of us that can't sew need to be able to make stuff too! :)

  • 2)and to keep the ribbon from fraying... use a lighter around the sides... but dont use it on fabric bcause it will go on fire... XD

  • i wonder what will happen if i will use a hot glue gun... XD

  • Oh man!You're good!!I wish I could do that!

  • i made this with black and red colours, it looked awesome!

so excited for my goth party (i called it a goth party because 1. my mother thinks lolita was an underage slut which she was but these are two different lolitas, you really cant argue with my mother and 2. because i dont want anyone else going goth loli, i may sound superficial which i kinda am but i want to look the best there, and you really cant blame me as its an awesome feeling walking into a room and everyone going "WHOOOAAA!")

  • yeah! excellent!!!! and dress? XD

  • i had to watch the video 2 times because i was distracted by the second song!! its my favorite song from hana kimi taiwan version!!!! ow0 hehe

    the head dress was pretty!!!

  • ita?

  • What fabric did you use to make the main part?

  • thanks for this,i always wanted to know how to make one of these

btw i love how it turned out xD

  • Awesome hairdress :D

  • tape,tape,tape :)

But this soo cute hairdress =^.^=

    u are pro..

    :DD

  • You can get a nice glue gun for $3 :)

  • what kind of tape is that? Oo its sticky on both sides?

  • wow, opening theme song of hana kimi! :D

  • sugoi, sugoi, sugoi!!

    thanks!!

  • You made a very easy and adorable headress, however, I think I'd prefer to sew everything down rather than tape it. Tape doesn't seem like it'll hold up very long, unless it's adhesive tape you add heat to.

  • I saw a white lolita hat with black lace at the end, did you make it? if so could you show how to?

  • i dobut this is water proof

  • the second song is from the dorama: HANA KIMI i love it! xDD

  • how do you clip the headdress to your hair? o:

  • lolz why dont i take a pad and decore it? xD

  • ;~; I wanna make one so bad now!

  • C: aww...i love it! I can't wait to make one of my own! ^^

    (the songs were enjoyable too!)

  • thank you!! thank you!! so cute ~~~ >w<

  • KAWAII!!! ^-^

  • Can you sew this design? Just wondering, it's very cute.

  • so you just TAPE everything....xD..

  • wat the song name?

  • @metalsiopao It's called Zen Me Ban (What Should I Do?) by S.H.E. from the soundtrack to the Taiwanese drama version of Hana Kimi.

  • I'm impressed! With just some fabric and tape, you made something fantastic. I don't have a sewing machine, so I'm used to hand-sewing everything...so the fact you used tape was really creative and fantastic!

    Thanks~<3

  • what song is on the second part???

  • @CyborgSlayerNila I don't remember the name of the song but it's an ending for Outlaw Star.

  • why do you do it with a pencil. you do that with fabric chalk and a pattern template

  • Not a bad design, but I'm worried about the integrity of double sided tape. have you Tried stitch witch, that no sew iron on tape?

  • How much did this all cost

  • even tho i dont understand the music i like it

  • whats that song at the beginning?? i know it from somewhere and can NOT figure it out!

  • very nice, though I think I sew mine, tape turns yellow after a while, looses it's stickiness, and can wreck the fabric.

Though I am wondering about the piece of white material you used as a base... how are you going to keep the edges from fraying? You didn't say what your starting fabric was.

  • There's something almost poetic about a lolita making her accessories with double-sided tape ^^ ...and so long as it doesn't show and it doesn't fall apart, who cares? I will definitely consult this video when I make my next hair dress. <3

  • all i know is its at the end of Out Law Star and iLOVE IT!!

  • this looks really beautiful and well made :)

    thank you ^.^ xx

  • What are the songs used in the video? I tried to look in the comments to see if this was asked previously but it wasn't, so.........

  • @CoolKumiKrazy The song at the end is Zhen Me Ban by S.H.E o3o (end one idk lolz)

  • I would like to say that the headdress is lovely. Really easy to follow instructions. I see alot of comments have said about you using tape instead of sewing, but I can see this would be very simple to just sew instead of and it is very handy to know where to start in putting together the headdress.

Sewing isn't hard all you sillies that think it is. No need to be pernicity.

  • @Verycuteyeah

I don't like sewing with lace because it always falls apart on me. Although my main reason i didn't sew at the time is because I didn't feel like taking my sewing items out right when I put them away for the move. Basicly I got lazy to the point where I didn't feel like going through boxes of my things to do it right. XD

So I just did it with tape...yet i do wish I had owned a hot glue gun before this video.

  • @lovestuckbunny i know what you mean about being lazy. im trying my best to put my stuff away after i use it cuz i know if i leave it out it'll just get super messy in my room... but then when i put it away and i feel like making something im just like... man.... i don't feel like taking it outttt *pout pout pout* lol

  • I like the tutorial! I think ill try it and make it for my halloween costume! But what were the 2 songs you used? I really like the 2nd one.!

  • What is the song at the end?

  • It looks really pretty, but that looked kinda lazy how you just used tape, did it not feel uncomfortable

  • Wow that was pretty! I'm surprised everything held up so well with just double sided tape!

  • I loved the ribbon thread through the lace, it was so pretty! Awesome headdress

  • this was a brilliant video, it's definitely helpful. what kind of white fabric did you use in the beginning anyway? i really liked that last song, do you mind if i asked what the song is called and who the artist is?

  • no cres que es mejoor en ves de usar tape silicon

  • wow, you are soooooo fantastically amazing ! I'm soooo going to try this <3

Thank youuu ! Are you sure in is not going to fall apart?

    AWESOME JOB :)

  • Whatever happend to the old fashioned hand sewing? i guess tape is for the lazy? or is that we don't know what a needle is? I just think it looses all the awesome handmade effect. It does look good though.

  • I really love this vid!

    XD

  • sorry i didnt watch the whole vid and then it said XD

  • is that doble sided tap? just wanderin

  • cant i just sew it on? instead of taping because after a while u have to keep taping

  • What kind of fabric did you use for the base?

  • <3 Thank you so much! :D now i know how to make a lolita hair dress!

  • Very resourceful! Good job :D

  • hmmm...a little too cosplay-looking for my tastes. The tape makes it look shiny and the side ribbons was a bit too much. good job, anyway.

  • this is cool

  • Can you make tutorial about how to make a big bow and such? I'm terrible with bows :/

    Lovely headdress

  • @bittercandycake

Just for your I will. Thank you for your input. ^ ^

  • @lovestuckbunny

    naaaaw, domo arigato :O! ^^

    ~

  • Gorgeous work! What is the name of this song, btw? :3

  • So cute! i love your creativity! what's the music called coz i luv it!

  • Kawaii!

  • What song is this?

  • ah kawaii! ^^

    nice song you pick.

    SHE rite? =3

    anyways, great video thanks!!

  • Wow! ^^ It looks very cute.

  • Where did you buy your lace and stuff?

  • @gemstoneprincess11

You can get it from Walmart or anywhere, but I got mine from Jo-Ann's Fabrics.

  • is it online ?

  • love it!!i could make now one for myself!yey!

  • what type of fabric did you start off with?

  • @PrincessAeryuss

just fleece cloth but you can use any type. I just chose to use that because that was the only type of fabric I had to spare.

  • you shouldn't have used tape for this. It'll just fall apart. I suggest using hot glue. But the end result is very pretty

  • XD I know that but the double sided tape on mine is still together. The point of this video is to show how to make one without or with a hot glue gun that plus hot glue guns are messy and I tend to get hurt very easily.

  • i kinow how that feels

  • @yaoigirl418

Wouldn't the hot glue make it kind of lumpy?

  • @StarlitNox

if you use too much....I try not o use that much

  • @yaoigirl418

    Aah, I see~

Heh, I'm trying to learn how to make clothes, but starting out with accessories. If the question seemed kinda silly, that's why. XD

  • thanks

  • I sang karaoke to this video the first time through, then I realised I didn't pick up any of the actual tutorial, and had to watch it over again, haha...

I love this song~ I have the CD, but it's been so long since I last listenned to it! <3

  • KYAA~ PRETTY~!

oh; how long and wide was your headdress?

  • It's 11in x 4in

  • @lovestuckbunny

    great~ thanks^^

  • Wow very adorable!

BTW what's the name of the song in the beginning? I really like it!

  • It's Tsuki No Le from Outlaw Star

  • wow! thats great! thank you, you saved me some money, and it'll be fun to make it :)
