@athenazg I have seen a Traditional English Hexagon patchwork quilt circa 1835. There are earlier records of the tradition, dating back to when painted calico was imported from India in 17th century. Unfortunately Fabric is not very durable and is easily weakened with wear, damp, washing and light damage.
