OMG....I love this hexagon patchwork! Jackie, how old of a tradition is this? Do you know any history? I would love to learn to do this, going to check out your website now!

@athenazg I have seen a Traditional English Hexagon patchwork quilt circa 1835. There are earlier records of the tradition, dating back to when painted calico was imported from India in 17th century. Unfortunately Fabric is not very durable and is easily weakened with wear, damp, washing and light damage.
